This house is a decent place to stay in Omaha. It is in a nice neighborhood, is nicely furnished, has a well-stocked kitchen, has plenty of towels & toiletries and is clean. But be aware of a few things if you choose to stay here:
1. The listing states this house sleeps 8. HOWEVER, if you have more than 4 people, you will be paying $25/person/night above the listed price. Also, there isn’t a bed for the 8th person.
2. I have rented VRBOs many times, this check in process is intrusive and unnecessary. Susan requires that she meets all guests there, even if you arrive at separate times. We had two carloads of people staying and we arrived a couple of hours apart. Susan insisted that she come back a second time to redo the check in with the 2nd car. In total, the check in process took over an hour and a half.
3. There is no king bed. It is a twin bed with a trundle. Yes, it sleeps the same amount of people, but it is NOT A KING BED.
4. The A/C is subpar and does not keep the upper levels of the house very cool making it somewhat uncomfortable to sleep.
5. There are many breakable knickknacks so I would not recommend this if you have toddlers or small children as owner makes it very clear during check in that you WILL be paying for any and all damages no matter how minor.
6. The owner will ask to take your picture (with her phone) at check in. This seems strange to me.
Overall, this was sufficient, but I would not stay here again because of the owner.
