"it doesn't have elevator ,but everything else was nice "

"We rented this cabin to spend a couple of nights to be close to other places we planned to spend time at. The cabin is much bigger than I thought it would be space wise. The kitchen is tiny, only one person can fit in there at a time. It worked well for us, but just know if you plan to make a big meal with lots of prep you will have to utilize the dining room table for that. The ad states there is Satellite TV but for us it didn’t seem to be hooked up, again we weren’t there to spend all day watching TV so the antenna worked for us. You won’t be bothered all the way back there and there is plenty of space outside and in to have alone time. We had one issue with the hot water but a quick response from the host we were up and running in minutes. The cabin does sit near the creek but do not expect to walk out the back door to it, its back in the marsh. Overall a beautiful place to spend a weekend, it fit exactly what our family needed and I would highly recommend. We will be back."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this little slice of paradise! The views from the screened in porch or the back decks we’re just beautiful. It truly is a birders paradise with bald eagles, purple Martins, Barnes swallows, mockingbird, willets And an abundance of shorebirds. The house was very well stocked including hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, coffee filter and much more. I did bring my own kayaks but really didn’t need to because there were nice ones there for guest use. The house was clean and very comfortable. The upper loft bedroom has its own bathroom upstairs with great views from its own balcony. As with every other place on the eastern shore come prepared With good bug spray to deal with biting bugs when outside. We were there before the horseflies got too bad and there was typically a good breeze when sitting outside on the decks. Pretty much everything that you could need is there for the kitchen and cooking which I was very surprised with. It was a very peaceful and relaxing trip and I would definitely come again!"

"My friend were doing a girl's trip and needed a place near the Tangier Island ferry. We got so much more! This house is in a great location...3 minutes from the ferry and restaurants and Walmart! All of which we needed! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! Doris was amazing to work with as well! Thank you, Doris!"

"We have stayed here on our travels several times. Clean rooms, friendly staff and just an overall good experience. "

"It is pretty basic, but equiped with all necessities and nicely put together. A cozy cabin with a lot of history. No street noise, no neighbor noise! Just woods, fields and creeks and all their critters. Good place to write, read and rest. No screens. Best for a small family, close friends or a couple. Not much privacy amongst the guests, but very private from the rest of the world! My husband and I loved it and hope to return!"
