"We stayed three days and it was a fine hotel for the price. We could have stayed down the road at the $362 per night place, but that was out of the question, budget-wise. This place was responsive to requests and even allowed us to switch to a more accessible room. Parking was good, the rooms were OK - considering the age of the building. Maintenance is an issue there, but again, considering the age of the building, they are trying to keep up."

"The hotel was under some upgrades but still a very nice place to stay the staff are very polite and we had no problems with our room or service! The pool area is indoor and was nice. The hot tub didn't work but they did send us an email before vacation which i thought was nice. They will probably have it fixed soon they said. We had lake plans anyways so no bother to us! The hotel was is walking distance from the bars/food so that was nice and there are some nice people in gaylord michigan! "

"This place deserved five stars not because it was like the Ritz-Carlton, but rather because it delivered what it promised. The room was spacious and clean; the staff was very friendly and helpful; the price was reasonable; the breakfast was good; and the place was in a convenient location. If I was in that area again, or driving through it, I would certainly stay again. "
