Het huis is voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt, de ligging is magnifiek en de tuin is heel ruim en volledig door bos omring. Helaas oogt alles (behalve de keuken) wat verouderd. Op een zomerdag is het op de bovenste slaapkamers erg heet en geraakt de hitte moeilijk weg. De slaapkamer in de kelder is erg koel, maar ze zijn daardoor weer wat vochtig. De badkamers en lavabo's zijn op de slaapkamers en er zijn geen deuren tussen slaapruimte en badkamer. Niet erg handig bij grotere groepen. Er zijn ook geen noemenswaardige gordijnen in een groot deel van de woning waardoor het er erg snel opwarmt. We vielen wat achterover van de extra kosten die dit huis met zich mee brengt: een afvalheffing van €30, €0,70/kWh (dag) (en niet €0,35 zoals BelVilla aangeeft), stookolie, water, ... In totaal kwam er nog zo'n €150 euro (op 1 week) aan kosten bij. Het was echter zomer en we waren met 4 volwassenen en 5 kleine kinderen. We hadden amper gekookt en niet verwarmd. Bij aankomst moet de waarborg verplicht cash betaald worden, we vroeg of dit elektronisch kon, maar dit ging niet. Het deel van de waarborg dat overblijft kan plots wél overgeschreven worden, zonder enige transparantie van hoe dit werd berekend en mogelijkheid tot betwisting. De, overigens vriendelijke en correcte, eigenaar was naar ons gevoel vooral gericht op winstbejag voor zijn woning.
