"This was the best and most comfortable motel I have ever stayed in during my years of extensive travel in regional Australia. The room was immaculate, bright lit with natural light, the bed was so comfortable, the bathroom new, the facilities complete. The staff were warm, kind and extremely helpful. I had a meal delivered from the local soldiers club directly to my room and the quality of this was outstanding. I’ve never left a review before but was so taken by this experience I felt it was necessary to do so. I will go out of my way to stay here again. "

"Beautiful historic building, a piece of history well restored and kept. Lovely amenities, tea coffee biscuits on arrival waiting in the room and drawing room. This was a nice touch after a long drive. Historic fittings, luxury linens, beautiful verandah. Friendly caring host. Amazing drawing room with lounges and tables and fire, would be very warm and fun in winter. No longer serves breakfast it is called an Inn. Some websites incorrectly still refer to BnB, however plenty of cafes to choose from round corner in the Main Street. I’d recommend newly renovated soldiers club for delicious dinner. "
