"Location was fantastic! Room was dated so far back that the furniture looked like it had been left outside in the weather, Room had a very musty smell. There was an odor that was so bad on the 5th floor that smelled like a dead animal and when we brought this to the attention of management we were told that we are not sure what Expedia says but we are just a 3 Star Hotel and that sometimes animals get in the crawl spaces and die which could cause the odor come to find out that it was a room that had a severe roof leak that caused this odor. When we checked in with the front desk we were not welcomed to the hotel, instead we witnessed the Bell Hop Rocco completely disrespect a guest who asked for a cart to carry her luggage. If you could have witnessed what I observed with this idiot you would have been disgusted. I did recommend that Rocco should be fired for saying that the lady should get her own F’n luggage and that he hopes management writes him up again. By the way, when we checked out today Rocco was still employed. The ladies working the front desk were equally as rude and could care less about anyone checking in on April 9th. (Mandi and 1 other lady who worked early morning were great and very friendly). I am extremely angry that I paid for this dump of a hotel. Nice honeymoon for us…. NOT! "The house was above expectations. Our extended family really enjoyed the property. The house was clean, well kept, and very comfortable. The pool and lanai were a great addition. We spent lots of time together by the pool. The host was attentive and very responsive. Great communication. Great location near the airport. Will definitely stay here again. "

"The place was perfect, the time fell on the major storm and Don made sure my daughter’s stay was safe. Don gave her a late check to accommodate her late flight. He stayed in communication with me throughout my daughter’s stay. She loved the place, close to some great hiking, coffee plantations. Not far from the beaches and airport. Highly recommended. "

"All the little extras, a small cooler, indoor toys for the kids and beach toys. Quiet neighborhood. Clean and welcoming home. Washer and dryer was a big plus! Only thing to consider is the bunk beds are right next to front door, which still worked out for us when we switched places with the kids with a couple of adults. Great place to stay and would definitely recommend "

"Great place to stay in Kona. The house was clean and had everything we needed including equipment for the beach. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with suggestions for sightseeing and snorkeling.The only minor downside was that it is close to a road so it can be noisy at times. "
