"Even though it was after the hurricane and not, everybody was on board for tourists, I had a wonderful time. The staff treated me like family, the grounds were still beautiful and the hula and ukulele lessons in the lobby were wonderful. Everyone there treated me with great aloha and even without a car it was a great place to be when I come back to this is where I stay."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had a good visit at the Kuhio Prince in Poipu. Nice property and the unit was as described. I requested a move after hurricane Lowell because I had been without power 2.5 days and inquired if there might be a unit on another part of the island where power might be restored quicker. My request was accommodated to Kaha Lani on the east side of the island. This unit had great access to the ocean and Lydgate Park. This unit could use some updating - rust on ceiling fans, mold in the shower, and could use a thorough cleaning of windows."

"The best features was the location on the beach and we had a balcony over looking the beach. The other positive was the proximity to the Coconut Market- walking distance to shops and restaurants. However it was not well lit at night so it could be hazardous walking. More lights are definitely needed. Our unit was also in need of an upgrade. The staff was helpful but they are not always available at the front desk."
