We visit the beach often and this was one of our most favorite visits. The condo was perfect. Everything about it from the large amount of space, to the pool and beach. Parking was easy, and the location was perfect. We will stay again!

Great Place to Stay

It was clean and plenty of room. Close to the beach and the pools were lots of fun. Not too crowded and it was nice having the kitchen and our own washer and dryer. Outdoor furniture was good, indoor furniture could use an update. Outdoor grills were good, liked seeing the pools and sidewalks being cleaned. Views of the beach were amazing.

Perfect place to have some sunny vacation time with family. Good accomodatiins, excellent view of ocean, easy acces to pools & beach & stores, shops, restaurants. If you need a place to unwind from lifes hectic pace, this is it!

Beautiful, peaceful condo

What a blessing it was to stay in this condo! Everything was clean. Check in was easy. The property was kept clean. Convenient location. Amazing views! I only wish we could have stayed longer. I would rent this condo again. Thank you for providing a beautiful place. ❤️

4th of July week

Condo was not clean. Thick layers of dust on all fans. Mold on shower heads. Whoever owns this is just grabbing as much money as they can. Condo needs some serious improvements. Would not recommend

Cleanliness issues but great location.

Do you location was great but the actual unit had serious issues with cleanliness. We found blood on three pillows and on the mattress cover in the double bed room. This was very shocking considering they were supposed to provide new pillowcases and how this was missed I have no idea. There was also trash under the bed and items left by the previous guests. The coffee pot was shattered in the back as if somebody tried to hide it but they did have a Keurig so that made up for that. It’s definitely an older feeling unit that needs updating but the view is beautiful. The metal patio furniture on the back is completely rusted so bad that sitting on it will definitely ruin your clothes. I will say though that the staff dealt with our blood stain issues very quickly I did not receive any kind of reimbursement for my stay, though even though a manager was supposed to call me. We did stay the entire five nights but that was due to all the other places not fitting our needs for our group size and budget. All the blood stuff was thrown away and replaced so hopefully nobody else has this issue because that’s a serious health hazard.

Horrible horrible experience at the Shoalwater Condos Gulfshores/Orange Beach

First off it looked and smelled dingy and dirty. Wall paper was hanging off in some areas, walls looked dirty due to scuffed marks. Carpet looked dingy, dirty and stained. Bathrooms smelled like urine, sheets were all stained so we slept on top of the covers. The couch is broke down, but this was only half of the disappointment the pictures advertised look nothing like what we saw. They are doing major construction of the balconies during peak season and our balcony was closed off, wrapped up in construction tape and beware signs. Instead of being able to sit out and enjoy the ocean view we were awakened every morning at 8am by the construction crews loud banging and jack hammering followed by a view of workers going up and down all day on the scaffles and scaffle ropes hanging. I was not given any prior notice that the construction would be going on so while in work zoom meetings my colleagues could hear all the loud banging from the construction. Shoalwater condos room 603 was not worth the money I paid and I called all the numbers on file to complain and get answers but of course I only got a recording. Highly disappointed all the way around I paid a lot of money for a out dated dirty condo with a view of construction workers all day and the sound of loud banging and saws grinding instead of the crackling of ocean waves! This was absolutely a horrible experience do not book this condo if I rate this condo cleaning and experience a zero I would they are horrible, I was surprised it didn’t have bed bugs by the way the stained sheets looked run away from Booking here management is absolutely no help!

Very poorly stocked

We made the reservation for six people for four days . We didn’t have enough bath towels . No kitchen towels and one dish cloth. Yes there was a laundry on site . However I was told that there wasn’t. So I did t bring laundry detergent . Asked twice for towels and received wash clothes ONLY. It wasn’t very clean. The management fees and cleaning fees are a RIP OFF. I DO NOT recommend VAcasa. They was no response from VAcasa if we had questions or concerns. There were no blankets. Yes it’s summer time. But you have people who are cold natured and hot natured. No internet access. This may seem petty. But when you pay 4 times what we could get a room for , a night you expect some customer service . They provide NONE

Love the location!

Shoalwater Is one of my favorite places to stay in Orange Beach! I love the location directly on the beach and the ability to swim indoors and outdoors!
