We loved this condo. Kitchen was well stocked and it was extememly clean. Loved having 2 full baths. Sugar Beach is awesome because of the location on the beach and the wonderful Sugar Shack snack bar!

Great location- Condo Needs Improvement

The location is great to get to the beach- also loved the burger/hotdog concession stand in the parking garage for when you are at the beach or pool- makes it very convenient for real food without having to leave the beach and/or pool. The parking is also good - however the elevator was awful- small, slow and HOT! Luckily it was just my husband and I on this trip and we were able to get us and our stuff up in one trip- but if you have a family you will take multiple trips!

The condo was perfect for the 2 of us. The peekaboo view of the ocean was just enough. The condo was clean and even smelled clean. Will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay

The only improvement would be to put a smart tv downstairs so that guests can use their online streaming services as needed. Difficult with college football bowl games & no ESPN downstairs.

Worth it!

We felt safe in this home. We had to check in with the guard who was always in the shack when we rode through. The home was comfortable and clean. Just a short walk to the beach! Not far from all of the fun things to do in the area. We hardly ever get away; choosing this location was well worth it!

Amazing

Overall property appears dated, elevators are in need of maintenance and run really slow but I enjoy staying at sugar beach!! The location to the beach, all the pools and the sugar shack is an added bonus! The condo was clean and just what my aunt and I needed! It was an amazing weekend!

Birthday trip

Took husband to orange beach for his birthday. We had a wonderful time. Condo was perfect. Only recommendation would be need to put pull string on fan upstairs because we would like to have used it but it is on high.

Great place!

The space was great! Carpet on the stairs was rather old… but otherwise was a great stay! We walked right onto the beach! Had cool air! (Someone else there had no air conditioning for over 3 days & couldn’t get help to get it fixed!) So we felt blessed and thankful for what we had! We definitely would love to come back! :)

Great service. Fair condition of property

Property being 50 yrs old was in bad need of repair, which is an ongoing process, (I understand this.) Upstairs TV didn't work by Vacasa tried to help, with no success. only 1 elevator working. Overall condo was a 4 out of 5. Vacasa was 5 out of 5. Will recommend them for future vacations.

Pleasantly surprised!

Booked this last minute and got a heck of a deal, we worried it was almost too good to be true! But if you don’t mind a older place then this is a steal. Especially steps away from the beach. Beach was beautiful and the pools were nice. Condo could use a facelift inside, carpet upstairs was a little gross. The construction next door was a little distracting while you are on the beach or pool but we just drowned it out with music! Would stay here again for a cheap last minute getaway for sure.

Our unit was clean and everything worked well. The elevators on site left a little to be desired. Only one elevator worked and that one was questionable at times. The pools were nice, but the heated pool could have been warmer, especially with the outside temperature being so cold. The check in/out process was very easy. The Wi-Fi was not the best. You had to go outside to make a phone call.

Fine but needs updating

The condo was generally clean, well stocked kitchen, updated vanities in the bathrooms. However, the carpet is extremely worn and matted. The only couch is dirty from years of wear on the edges and the fold-out is not sufficient for anyone to sleep on. I should’ve brought an air mattress. Otherwise, the cleaning staff left plenty of soap for bathroom, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, shampoo/conditioner.

It was just okay.

Everything was okay except the filthy sofa that was in our unit. We could not even sit on it because it was just gross. We called Vacasa x 2, who promised someone would bring us linens to put on the sofa so we could use it. They never came. We found an old comforter in the upstairs closet that we placed over the sofa but it smelled bad. We never got the linens for the sofa; therefore, my guest had to sleep on the stinky comforter on a closed sofa sleeper (we DO NOT share a bed and no one ever brought linens for the fold out sofa after 2 calls). TOTALY UNACCEPTABLE!!! Will never use this unit ever again, will never use Vacasa again because apparently they do not check into who their clients are and if they check on their own units.
