Melaleuca Cottage offers a perfect blend of modern accommodation with the charm of a country retreat.

It has a verandah with tables, chairs, and gas Weber BBQ to allow guests to sit and enjoy their meals while looking over the tranquil open grounds which hosts many native birds. This newly renovated cottage boasts a fully equipped kitchen, king bed and double spa bath - relax and enjoy your stay. An EV charger has been recently added.

There are beautiful views and a number of areas in which to relax and enjoy the beauty of the four seasons of Orange, with the occasional snowfall.

The two air conditioners provide instant warmth.
The cottage provides a Smart TV, kitchen, washing machine, keg fireplace (wood provided), convection / microwave oven and all the needs for a short stay or extended holiday.

It is adjacent to the racecourse, close to a number of the region's best wineries, fine food dining, cafes, and amazing golf courses.
A healthy, light breakfast is available for the first morning - with our farm fresh eggs.

Two transit bikes and / or 2 Ebikes are available for hire - contact us if you would like them. $25 per bike or $50 per ebike per 2 night booking

Guest access

Visitors may access the areas adjacent to the cottage, front and back paddock and even feed the pet horse, Daisy, pat the alpacas, Bobbie and McGee, or sat hello to our Baby Doll sheep - Gus and Bert.

Interaction with guests - Majella and Simon are happy to recommend activities and places to visit - like a walk to Phillip Shaw Winery, or biking routes.
We are happy to interact as much, or as little, as you would like.

Other things to note

From the cottage, Orange town centre is only 3km, Phillip Shaw Winery and the Racecourse are within walking distance (1.5 km) for active visitors.

There is easy access to a number of the region's great fine food restaurants, numerous coffee shops, cool climate wineries, Orange Regional Art Gallery, Mount Canobolas, and Wentworth and two great golf courses.

Melaleuca Cottage is on a 5 acre block which also has a main house which shares the main driveway. Strategically placed hedges, double glazed windows and a bush outlooks provide great privacy.
