Really loved our stay! Loved the outdoorsy feel of the house and there was way more room than we needed for our family of 5. The hot tub was perfect after a tough day of hiking. The drive into Zion coming from the East side is absolutely spectacular.
After a day of adventure the house was a welcomed placed to return to. The 13 of us had plenty of room to relax, play games, sit in the hot tub, and sleep comfortably. It was well stocked with supplies and our host communicated important information with us, which was very helpful.
Nice property with good amenities. We had issues with hot water not working first day. Manager sent maintenance person but no issues found. Later worked ok. Good communication and support from Steve
We loved the house and the location. The kitchen was really well stocked, which we loved! They had everything we could need. The host was AMAZING, and very communicative! The nearby resort restaurant was actually quite good for meals we didn’t want to cook. The trails within walking distance to the house looked into Zion at Checkerboard Mesa. So beautiful!Highly recommend!
Property was very neat and clean, amenities very branded and high quality. Big garage with Tesla wall charging in garage itself. Very nice kitchen with all kind of utensils and appliance. Highly recommend for large group.
We found the home to be exactly what we expected and needed for the 5 of us. Neighborhood was quiet and close enough to Zion for us. The home was lovely and had everything we needed. The host provided helpful information regarding restaurants and grocery shopping given its distance (drive time) from Zion.
Great area, lots to do. Beautiful place plenty of space, clean and comfortable.
Gas grill needs repair, did not get hot enough to cook on.
Close to both Zion and Bryce National Parks.
Plenty of space for a large family
Clean, nicely maintained home
There is construction going on next door, which was a bummer. There isn’t much of a view during the day, but the deck is a great place to see stars at night.
Great support from owner and representative. Lovely area and views. Nicely furnished and fresh home. Comfy beds. Very nice kitchen and well stocked with supplies. Very nice neighborhood — Safe and quiet. Used hot tub, which was very relaxing after hiking 15-20 thousand steps. We specifically filtered our search on homes with hot tubs. Location is very near to Zion National Park, less than 30 minutes. Bryce about an hour and 20 minutes. Bring food as nearest grocery stores are nearly an hour drive away in one direction — we were informed of this prior to arrival, thankfully. Going forward this appears to be less of an issue as it looks like there is new construction of a grocery store/gas within 5 miles of the home. Lastly, had an unexpected encounter with a bull bison while driving out to the state highway — very memorable!! Magnificent beast. Would stay again!
A large group of 13 friends all spent an amazing weekend exploring Zion. We got a dusting of snow one day, deer prancing up to the home the next. It is about 15 minutes to the east gate of Zion, but around a 45 minute drive through the park to get to the visitor center to catch the shuttles. It was a beautiful home with plenty of room for all of us. We would definitely stay again.
This house was great for our family of five. The house is so large that we could have fit a whole other family with us. The house is stocked with everything you can think of for a vacation at Zion. You just need to bring the food. We ate dinner out on the deck every night, and we also used the hot tub every day. Our 3 teenage daughters spent one of the days at the resort and loved it. The beach and pool were great! My husband and I did the East Mesa Hike to Observation Point that starts just north of the resort. It is an excellent hike that overlooks Angels Landing and The Narrows. The location of the house is perfect for getting to the east entrance of Zion and for doing other activities near orderville.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The layout of the house provided plenty of room for everyone to join together or have their own space and was very clean. Kitchen had all appliances and cookware you could need. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash in bathrooms was a nice addition. We saw a lot of deer and jack rabbits in the yard and enjoyed evenings in the hot tub under the stars. The drive to Zion National Park was a bit long, but it really is a beautiful drive! Would definitely recommend this home as a great place to stay!
Beautiful, roomy and well equipped home! Located in a very quiet neighborhood with quick access to the Zion NP East Entrance. We enjoyed Zion and local trailheads by day and grilling out by night. The jacuzzi was also perfect for relaxing after miles on the trails. Some may call it remote, but we considered it perfect; away from the crowded and commercial Zion south entrance. This was a trip with friends leading into a Ragnar Trail Race at the Zion Ponderosa Resort next door. Zion is back on the vacation list for the family and can’t think of a better place to stay!
Zion -20 minutes/main entrance 45
Bryce canyon- 1.5 hours
Horse shoe Bend/ Antelope Slot Canyon -2 hours
North rim grand Canyon- 2 hours
Kanab sand caves- 40 minutes
Water canyon Trailhead- 120 minutes
Toad Stool Hike 1.5 hours
These are just a few highlights in and around this area. Some of the drives may seem long, but they fly by with all the beauty.
The property is nice. The kitchen is well stocked with what you need to cook. Beautiful sunrise from the second story every morning. The beds were comfortable. the house was very nice and cozy with the electric fireplace.
This property was perfect! From start to finish, this property had it all. The host was very communicative and quick to respond. Checking in was super easy and all directions and instructions given were extremely helpful, especially since cell phone reception was spotty in areas. The house was very clean and had all the supplies needed. The kitchen was fully stocked which worked out perfectly for cooking (not a lot of places near by). The owners really thought about everything. This property is perfect for those looking to unplug, relax and enjoy nature’s beauty. The hot tub and the fire pit are also great bonuses. We got to see deer eat berries while enjoying the hot tub! Zion park is near, easy to get to and there are a ton of hikes to choose from. The drive to and from the property is absolutely gorgeous, just watch for deer and goats! Overall this property is a gem!! Looking forward to staying here again.
Wonderful property!! Beautiful house that had everything we needed. Very spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Days spent hiking and exploring the many beautiful parks in the area. Evenings spent star gazing on the large deck, playing ping-pong or foosball on the tables in the garage, or relaxing in the hot tub or in front of the cozy living room fireplace. Many extras that other properties don’t always have. Well stocked kitchen, large shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles in each shower. Plenty of towels including extras provided for the hot tub. Close proximity to Zion and Bryce. Spent a day at Glen Canyon on Lake Powell, only a couple of hours away. Wonderful time was had by all.
We enjoy our stay in this beautiful home in Zion Park.
Location is so majestic, kind of in the middle of nowhere but close enough to visit all Zion park attractions. Main entrance to Zion park is about 45 minutes away, east entrance is 20 minutes away. Bryce park a little less than two hours and Coral pink sand dunes and Peek-A-Boo Slot Canyon is 35 minutes away.
House is Really well stocked up as other guests mentioning. More than enough soap, detergent, dish soap, shampoo, paper towel, spices, coffee and other. Different types of movie providers. House is clean and cozy.
We were lucky to have a snowfall overnight and woke up to a fairy tale outside.
We used grill and hot tub, everything is in a working condition.
The only things that need improvement are dinning chairs, they are sticky, so may be some cushions or covers would help; and table tennis racquets and balls need to be replaced because they are in really bad condition) Other than that we enjoyed every second of our vacation, and would stay again in this house.
Place is huge. Easily fits 14 as it says. Hot tub is great. Kitchen has pretty much everything you need. Beds are comfortable and every room has a balcony. Gas grill needs some burner maintenance.
It is remote which we enjoyed, but that may not be for everyone. Groceries and supplies are best gotten in Kanab (on the way in if you come from SE) because the choices are slim and expensive in Springdale
It is about a 30 min drive from the cabin to Zion Visitor Center but it is a beautiful drive. There was never a line at the ranger station at the east gate but I would still recommend leaving the cabin by 7 am to get parking at visitors center. From there you can take shuttle up into Zion. You can park at stop 3 (closest stop to east entrance) as well but you have to take a shuttle down to stop 2 or walk up to stop 4 to go further into the park. Parking at visitor center also gives you access on foot to Springdale and the Springdale shuttle so you don’t have to find parking in town or fight traffic back into the park.
Watch out for mule deer on road at dusk and later.
