It has a fascinating Utah pioneer history with most of the residents having roots back to the founding families of the 1800s. The Native American tribes of Paiutes, Navajos, and Moquis camped and hunted the region. Walk through the town safely and hike several local trails and canyons close by. Watch for fantastic sunrises and sunsets, with views of towering white and vermillion cliffs and rolling hills in the valley. Don't forget to take your camera.
