The location is central for Orebro. You do not need a car. Even in the winter you can walk to many things so long as you dress appropriately.

We were there 25/12 and were given the complimentary dinner and breakfast. Both were very good. Staff were lovely even though they were busy. Somehow managed to hook a room without windows. I would be more careful next time as I did not like that, but it was only 1 night here. A bit claustrophobic for me. Overall a good stay but beware of no windows!

Schöne Lage unweit des Schlosses. Das Personal am Empfang war sehr freundlich und hat uns auf Veranstaltungen zu Midsommer hingewiesen. Stilgemäß zur Fika Erdbeerkuchen. Auch das Abendessen war zusätzlich mit Midsommerspezialitäten bestückt. Das Zimmer eine Katastrophe. Erdgeschoss zur Straßenseite ohne Tagesvorhänge. Doppelbett mit nur einem seitlichen Einstieg für beide. Entsprechend abgewirtschaftet und unbequem die Schlaffläche. Kein entspanntes Schlafen, eher eine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit. Schade

Trivelig hotell. Litt annerledes. Gode senger. Strøkent bad med dårlig lys. Ikke skap el skrivebord. Enkel, god middag. Bra frokost. Litt overrasket over «tilsnakk» fra ansatt som påpekte at vi ved neste opphold bare skulle bruke en asjett hver av miljøhensyn. Usikker på om det blir noen neste gang. Jeg måtte av helsemessige årsaker hente mat for 85 årig samboer. Da ble det en til brød for to, en til pålegg og en til varm mat pluss de vi spiste på. Sikkert «godt»ment, men litt unødvendig. Litt ubehagelig avslutning på ellers trivelig opphold.
