I tried to book this property but was given a message from VRBO that said “property was booked by someone else”, however, they still charged my card. Vrbo CS said only way to cancel is to contact the host even though the issue is really their system. Anyhow, I contacted the host and they would not respond. Then this guy has the guts to send me a message about checkout. When I called for the 10th time, but this time to complain to Vrbo customer service, they got ahold of the property owner finally, and he openly admitted he ignored my message. Terrible human and a crook. He could have charged one day and rented the room with no problem most likely, but instead, he just ignored my explanation. This isn’t even a mistake I made. It is Vrbo, but this guy could have tried to help by posting and trying to rent. Even if he would have just replied to say there wasn’t anything he could do would have helped us figure out what to do quicker. Instead, he wanted the money, so he ignored the guest. My suggestion is to never give your money to a guy like this. Do not help people who won’t take care of their “guest”. If you book this place and you have a problem, he will just ignore you. We never even checked in, yet this guy is ok with taking our money. That says a lot about you and your character buddy!
