Superb location in Edenton

Loved this historic home in Edenton. Great location, everything we needed- including super comfortable beds after a day of bike riding. would highly recommend to anyone visiting Edenton.

Great home and town

Ashley was great to work with and the home was great! We enjoyed the home and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of places to sit and relax inside and the screened porch is great!

Relaxing getaway

My husband and I loved our weekend stay in Oriental. The Pugh House had everything we needed and plenty of room for our German Shepherd pup as well. So much of Oriental is within walking distance!

Great old house in the center of Oriental

Great location in a quirky comfortable house within easy walk of the downtown and the riverfront. Very responsive owner to our concerns and few issues.

Wonderful house with lots of space and charm!

We had a wonderful weekend at Pugh House in Oriental. The house is clean and updated in so many ways without disturbing its original charm. We especially enjoyed the spacious kitchen, front porches, and living spaces. And it was such a treat to be able to bring our dog. We hope to return!

Wonderful Location

I’ve used this property a few times on my travels on the ICW. It’s a beautiful home a few blocks from all the marinas/restaurants and comes with lots of bikes to get around. Ashley was incredibly prompt in responding when we were checking in and needed assistance. Will definitely be using again!!

Oriental sailing camp

Well maintained older home. With 4 teens and tweens the sparsity of electrical outlets for charging phones, watched and I-pads was a challenge. Loved the screened in porch with swing and the availability of bicycles. Kids rode to camp each day and to a nearby park. All good except Oriental municipal water!

Easy and comfortable

We've been to Pugh house 3 times and love the property. We never even get in our car once we arrive- everything is walkable. The owners have added nice new touches so it is only getting more comfortable. They are great to work with and go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. We really enjoy taking sailing lessons and renting boats at Bow to Stern which is a short bike ride away- great company and wonderful people. If you happen to be an electric vehicle owner you will be pleased to know that there are 2 free public chargers within walking distance of the house. One is less than a block away. Our dogs also enjoy the HUGE back yard.

Easy stay in great location

Stayed here for one night before camp drop off, plenty of room and super convenient to the town of Oriental. Didn’t get to enjoy much of the stuff around because it was a short day, but the bikes would’ve been loved by all. Hot water, cute house, great location- would gladly stay here again.

Great location in lovely costal town

The house overall was perfect for our family. Everyone had their own bedrooms, with the kids upstairs giving us all some room. The dogs loved the great big back yard. The location was perfect, so close to town, it was easy and fun to bike to the park and coffee shop daily. We hit the foods trucks across the street at the brew pub for easy meals. Overall it was a terrific stay, we love Oriental and hope to stay at this property again.

Perfect getaway!

We had the best time during our stay in oriental. The house was clean and had everything we needed. It was very cozy and plenty of space for our family (4 adults 4 kids). The “secret closet with kids toys really made this place magical for our kiddos and was a lovely surprise. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch, option to ride bikes and the proximity to the waterfront and coffee shop. We hope to return!

Perfect Getaway with Charm, Comfort, and a Great Yard for Dogs!

We had a wonderful 3-day stay at this charming 1930s home in Oriental, NC. The house was clean, cozy, and well maintained—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved the screened-in patio where we enjoyed morning coffee, the super comfortable bed, and the beautiful, spacious yard. The fenced-in area was a huge plus for our dogs, who had just as much fun as we did! Communication with Ashley was smooth and easy, and check-in was a breeze. We’d absolutely stay here again!
