Welcome to "1-Mile House", where everything you could ever need is only 1 mile away! Skaket Beach (best sunsets), Eldridge Park (go Firebirds!), Downtown Orleans, Shaw's, CC Rail Trail, Black Hog Brewery, mini-golf, ice cream, & any cuisine/drink one could want are all less than 1 mile away. This ideal location still offers a flat/large/ private backyard for family fun. The whole house was completely renovated in 2023, including new central a/c system. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking and dining. On-site laundry & pod coffee machine included for convince. Amenity highlights included w/ stay: Bedding and towels, oversized outdoor shower off the primary bedroom, large outdoor grill that is connected to the main house gas line, smokeless fire pit/patio, 2 adult bicycles, 3 beach chairs, 1 wheeled cooler, Ping-pong & foosball tables in garage, secondary fridge/freezer in garage. Young child amenities included w/ stay: 3 child bicycles, roll-a-way crib, high-chair, stroller, bike double trailer/jogger.

Our family loved this house! Charming exterior— Quintessential Cape Cod! It was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and hydrangeas in every room when we arrived. Plenty of room for 6 adults to hang out in the living room or the large deck and yard. We also enjoyed the smokeless fire pit many nights. And it really does live up to its name “1 Mile House”—bike path, Skaket Beach, shopping, ice cream, etc. Communication with our host from start to finish was fantastic. We would absolutely stay at this property again!

Overall the house was very nice. Clean and well equipped. Convenient location. Only feedback is that the grill was very dirty & greasy. Looks like it has not been cleaned in a long time. We did not use it. Some general home instructions when moving in would be helpful. For example, trash day, tv instructions, WiFi password. That said Justin was very responsive when we had question. Thanks.

The house was spotless, well stocked with everything we needed, and conveniently located. We had a wonderful stay, and Justin was very responsive to our questions.
