"We had a very pleasant stay at this spacious and comfortable home, which was well-suited for our larger group. The garden was a particular highlight, offering ample space and the added delight of fresh fruit to pick. The location is great, being within a short walking distance of the beach and sea (20mins). "Some of the basics were not provided on our stay so really wasn't worth the money. Communication - didn't receive the check-in details by email as instructions said. The day before the stay I tried to contact the host multiple ways, including Hotels.com support x 2, with no luck. Eventually on the day of the stay I was told I would get the information at 12pm. At around 1pm I had not received the information so chased again. Was finally given the information at 2pm but was rudely told that...

"Orida is a spacious property, with great facilities to hold your wedding, party, conference, and includes a gym and Spa. Had a massage, so a nice bonus to taking the trip. The space is clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was ok. We had breakfast (vegan hot food missing), lunch on the first day and dinner (both nights).. The hotel was well used by friends and family and did not lack customers. Near a local M & S and Next that included extra shops, like Bath and Body Works. Great break..."

The staff was very helpful. One minor drawback was the room service: we had to ask for fresh towels or toilet paper even though someone was in our room every day because shampoo sachets were left behind. "

The Falstaff Hotel

"We got to the hotel early so that we could look around Canterbury. Parking at the hotel is via an App,(it was not like that last time we stayed), being Old it took us over half an hour to pay for the parking, bare that in mind if you are old and not OK with modern Apps and you don't have a smart phone the telephone numbers on the "Ringo notice board do not help with paying for parking", basically a nightmare. Hotel was fantastic, clean, bed was comfortable and the breakfast was amazing in the morning was great, continental or full English. At the end of the Car Park is a "Wetherspoons" so the evening meal was excellent:- 2 Fish, Chips and Peas, a Pint of Cider and a Brandy and coke £23.50 all in. All in all we had a lovely time at the Falstaff, Canterbury."

"Our stay at Hempstead House in Sittingbourne completely excelled against expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make everything absolutely perfect. Every single member of the team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly – you could really feel that they cared about making guests comfortable. The rooms were spotlessly clean and beautifully kept, which made for a really relaxing stay. The spa was the highlight for us – we absolutely loved it. The jacuzzi and hydro pool were wonderfully warm, and even the small outdoor pool had lovely hot water, which was such a treat. It was the perfect place to unwind. The food at the hotel was also amazing – beautifully presented, full of flavour, and excellent service to match. Overall, Hempstead House is a gem. The staff, the spa, the food, and the atmosphere all came together to give us a stay we won’t forget. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, friendly, and luxury experience in Kent."
