"I came to the area for my 55 HS reunion. This resort of very quiet and peacefull and a nice place to stay. The only downside is that parking is a long way from the cabin, AND no towels are provided AND there is no A/C. And, this is an older resort and I don't think a lot of money has been put into it to repair and maintain it. One example would be, the screen door has holes in the screen, rather than put a new screen in, they taped up the holes. There are other repairs like this that have been made that should have been done better. Obviously the owners dont want to spend money to upgrade things and fix things right. Even so, this is a very nice place to stay and is worth the money. The staff is very friendly and caring. I recommend staying there. Very nice location and grounds."

"Really nice place. Just adjacent to the lake. Set up as a cabin with sufficient bedrooms, cooking area, and common area. Hosts were very responsive and asked if we need anything. Could not ask for anything more. A very accurate and fulfilling destination. Denise and Roy were very available. The pontoon was all anyone needed to explore the lake. We had a really great time. The nearness of the Tavern on the Bay restaurant made any evening you didn’t wanna cook easily solved. A great and easy entry into the northern lakes experience."

"Unbelievable property, had a great time and our family was cozy and comfortable the whole week. This location is a fisherman's paradise with the added bonus of having a great home to come back to each day to relax, cook, and stay in comfort. We will be coming back to this spot. "

"The Island is in a beautiful quiet location. Once you get all your stuff to the island its all relaxation. Fishing off the dock was good for the kids and provided good excitement. There are several places to eat and gas up on the big part of the lake. You can even access Fortune Bay via boat with a 30-40 minute boat ride. Golf at the Wilderness is top notch. The cabin is small, but enough room for 3 adults and 2 kids. Black bay is a small bay which provides nice protection when the weather gets bad. Dock has ample space for two larger boats. Saw lots of loons and eagles from our dock. Overall a great experience and highly recommend."
