Lovely holiday

We had a lovely holiday in a beautiful house. The layout was quirky but worked well. Our hosts answered our queries very promptly. Such a beautiful location and very peaceful.

Wonderful stay with multiple families

Our group of 8 adults and 8 young children had a wonderful holiday stay. The accommodation was very child-friendly, with plates, cutlery, stair gates, and baby beds provided. The spacious living areas. The peaceful environment added to the charm, making it a relaxing retreat. The bedrooms were basic, but OK. Host was quick to assist whenever needed. The large swimming pool (max depth of 3 meters) was a major highlight for everyone. Ideal for multiple families, we highly recommend this place!

Idyllic, relaxing and accommodating

We had a lovely stay in the tiny village of Orsans. I stayed with 11 friends (mainly couples) in July and we couldn't have enjoyed it more. The village is a short car journey to Carcassonne, which we visited for an afternoon though the heat cut out trip short. Fortunately the house was a lovely place to relax and unwind, everything was working in the house, the kitchen is extremely well equipped which was a blessing for us foodies! The hosts are responsive and very helpful, Cait is a wealth of knowledge and was always on hand with info or responses to questions. We would all certainly recommend the house for a group looking to chill, eat and swim. On top of all this the local countryside is unrivaled, we saw all manner of wildlife and the the Pyrenees are in view from the garden. They are also only a short car journey away if you were feeling adventurous! Highly recommend a stay here!

very vast and quite villa in the middle of a very small village, beautiful garden and pool. Rooms are large and clean and remain fresh even in summer thanks to the thick stone walls. Kitchen is actually in the first floor. The terrace is beautiful and under the shade of different plants.we had a great week with our friends, we were 13 people.thank you to Caitriana and Martin!!

tres bon sejour dans cette grande maison.7 chambres et 7 salles de bain c est parfait.equipement cuisine tres bien.belle piscine.l ensemble de la batisse et de l'exterieur meriterait un peu d entretien mais sans que cela soit genant pour les occupants.par contre la cuisine au 1er etage c' est compliqué ,a chaque repas que l on souhaite prendre en exterieur il y a de nombreux allers retours avec des marches a monter et descendre.c est le seul point negatif.

Séjour à Orsans

Pour la première fois alors que nous louons des séjours de vacances depuis longtemps, les loueurs nous ont demandé de fournir une attestation d'assurance responsabilité civile pour tous les participants au séjour soit 16 personnes alors que l'usage veut qu'on ne fournisse que celle de la personne qui loue et qui est est responsable pour l'ensemble. Cela a crée pour nous un climat de méfiance délétère, mais hormis cela le séjour s'est très bien déroulé. Une fois sur place , les loueurs ont été bien. maison et piscine très agréables correspondant à l'attente.

Un bel endroit !

Agréable séjour, pour une famille de quinze, dans une demeure confortable, spacieuse, bien équipée, propre et décorée avec goût, dans un cadre naturel reposant. Au moins aussi bien, sinon mieux, que le descriptif ! Kaitrina est une hôtesse aussi attentive que discrète.

10 jours à Orsans en famille

Le logement est conforme à la description, très bien équipé, confortable, frais vu la chaleur ambiante et au calme absolu. Les propriétaires sont très disponibles et très discrets. Bien qu’isolé, le village est proche des restaurants, boulangerie, supermarchés … La région est calme et semble ignorée des touristes. A noter que les curiosités et autres sites touristiques sont assez éloignés, non pas en distance, mais en temps. La beauté des paysages excuse cependant ce désagrément.

Nous sommes un groupe et avons l'habitude de partir tous ensemble. Seul hic. Pas de précisions sur le site de la 7eme chambre qui est un dortoir fermé par un rideau ( et non pas une porte) et qui n'a pas sa salle de bains privée puisqu'elle est à l'étage en dessous. Idéale pour 6 couples et des enfants et non pas 7 couples. Le reste de la maison est très bien avec une cuisine très bien équipée. Séjour agréable. Merci à nos hôtes

Très chouette logement dans un très bel environnement

Logement très bien équipé. Tout ce qu il faut pour cuisiner. Très grande piscine. Très belle vue. Logement confortable. Tout est parfait sauf le fait que la cuisine et le salon sont au premier étage. Il ne faut pas avoir peur des escaliers.

Super séjour au calme

Nous avons passé 5 jours pour le réveillon dans cette super maison. 4 familles de 4, la maison est parfaitement adapté à ce nombre : salles de bains pour chaque chambre, cuisine très bien. Équipée avec tout ce qu’il faut pour 16 personnes. Salon très agréable avec des grands canapés confortables. Petit hameau au calme, jardin extra pour les enfants. Seul bémol, 2/3 lits avec des matelas trop fin et donc inconfortables. Les hôtes sont très disponibles, agréables et sympathiques. Je recommande!

Great house, great location, great holiday!

We had a fabulous 2 weeks in this super house which was perfect for the 6 adults and 6 children. The house is well equipped, particularly the kitchen, and we spent several nights sitting outside around the big table eating. It's a short drive into Mirepoix (10 mins) were we enjoyed many of the cafes and restaurants. The house is a great location as a base for exploring the entire Languedoc region. The large pool was enjoyed by both adults and children whether serious swimming before breakfast or fun and games throughout the day.

Le Presbytere, Orsans

First impressions on arrival were very favourable. Quiet location, lovely building with very attractive views over to the Pyrenees. Pleasant outdoor space with a lovely swimming pool, all ideal for relaxation. The property is very clean, spacious, and well presented. The general area offers great scope for exploration and is well supplied with good eating places. Mirpoix is only 11 kms away and is a delight.
