"We loved this hotel. The facility is beautifully restored and the rooms are spacious, graciously appointed and have modern baths. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Sylvia gave us a wonderful tour of the entire palace and provided historically accurate details around the town and the palace. Christina was particularly helpful as we had a medical emergency and she went above and beyond to help us. Overall I would highly recommend stopping here on your trip through Tuscany and Umbria. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Veronika's place and it's proximity to Orvieto (about a 25 minute drive away). During our stay we visited Todi, Assisi, Amelia and Lake Bolsena. We shopped every day at the Coop in Orvieto near the autoroute. The kitchen was very well equiped. We enjoyed cooking in the evening. The only thing to flag for others - if you are driving and you have a very big car - the dirt track to the property is very, very narrow and our car only just fit! Hence the reason we...

"As others have said, even more lovely than photos. We were 8 couples aged 23-77 for a week with room for more. A real advantage is the en suite bathroom situation, albeit some bathrooms and showers roomier than others. Highlight is outdoor dining patio where we took all meals given the mild September weather. "Such a beautiful resort. Absolutely breathtaking. The staff were all so amazing and helpful. Rome was about 1.5 - 2 hours away by transit but it was so worth it to stay at this resort. Very easy to take the transit. Very authentic Italian and lots of shopping and restaurants near by. This resort is up on a high hill that cars cannot go up so be prepared to walk up a step hill or 2 but worth it!"
