This inviting and updated lake front home has much to offer in Captain Ron's no-wake cove. Be sure to check out our other nearby lake houses: #2430667 and #419921. The fully furnished kitchen offers granite counter tops and stainless appliances. Imagine relaxing on the deck with a cool beverage, just feet from the lake with a terrific panoramic view! The stone wood burning fireplace offers family memories or a romantic fire setting. How about a in the stone fireplace. Or enjoy our outside fire-ring for your family bonfire!

This Lake Home is a smoke-free environment. We ask that if you smoke, please do so outside on the grounds or deck. Please police your trash, thank you.

We require you to bring your own life vests for you and your children. The water off the dock is over an adult's head.

Our 25-foot, tri-toon Pontoon boat with a 150hp Mercury 4 stroke engine is available for rent to our guests right from our dock.
Our lake house is easy to get to and close to everything. With blacktop all the way to the lake home. Great fishing off the dock over our many crappie beds and where bald eagles can often be seen wintering on the lake.

Pet: Allowed on a per pet bases. $50 per pet.

Many activities including water sports, shopping, golfing, hiking at one of the many State Parks (We love Ha-Ha-Tonka State Park), Big Surf Water Park and so much more. We are located near the Hurricane Deck Bridge at the 34MM. From our deck or from inside our lake house, you have a terrific main channel view from inside our protected cove! The unique six-sided room fronting the lake is walled with windows-- very inviting and offers a beautiful stone, wood burning fireplace. Home backs to the east and the deck receives morning sun and shaded afternoons! With two separate TV and living areas, this 1,950 square foot home has room to relax. The dock has a swim platform and an area to enjoy the sun!! Terrific fishing around the established crappie beds. Sleeping arrangements made easy with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths plus a bunk room area in the finished lower level. The bunk area has a twin over a double- bunk bed plus another double bed. The family room has a couch, love seat and chair with a TV.

You are within walking distance to one of the hottest family friendly spots on the lake--Captain Ron’s Restaurant and Bar features live music, tiki bars & a large sand beaches with beach volleyball nets and swim area. Pirate's Point Boat Rental is right around the point, less than a mile, where you can rent boats and jet skis of all types! Estimated times from our driveway: Wood's Super Store 5 minutes. Outlet mall about 22 minutes. Tons of restaurants and shopping within 10 minutes. Easy directions, just a half mile off Hwy 5, black top all the way! Cell phones work great at the lake house. Terrific for the Shoot-Out and BroStock events at Captain Ron's. Our second and third lake houses are larger and offers 5 bedroom- check them out by googling VRBO #2430667 or VRBO #419921. They are side by side and about 4 1/2 miles by water or about a 7-minute drive by car. Both top quality!

Fully equipped kitchen, gas bbq grill, linens and shower towel provided (we do not provide outside towels for beach, boat or dock), laundry room with washer and dryer.

A variety of attractions are within a 20-minute drive. Enjoy day hikes at Ha Ha Tonka State Park where you can picnic and swim while exploring the ruins of a real stone castle, a natural rock arch, caves and large spring. On your way back to the lake house stop in Camdenton at a fresh fruit and vegetable market. Bridal cave is also nearby with its spectacular geological features. Enjoy nearby Big Surf Water Park or several terrific golf courses. Ol' Kinderhook GC is one of my favorites and the home of my only hole in one! Tons of shops and restaurants or take in a movie!

Location Location Location

This is our second stay at Randy’s. First time we stayed a week. This time we stayed two weeks. We love the location and everything about the house. It’s a great home away from home.

Mother's Day Surprise

This was a nice little surprise for my mom for Mother's Day. Very nice place and the view is perfect! The kithcen was fully equipped with everything that we needed.

Great location, great cove.

The positives can't be easily duplicated. The location in the no wake cove is amazing. The deck is great, and the house overall is nice. There were some negatives. There is very limited parking as there is just a small driveway to go down to the house crammed in between two other houses. No street parking. The house smelled musty when we got there and had to leave windows open and air it out for several hours. The outside of the house was very dirty with cobwebs everywhere, walkways needing swept, etc. A lot of the outside lights don't work, so had to be careful walking at night. The check-in process was confusing as you have to contact a different person when you get there than who you have been communicating with to get a code. Overall I gave a 4 star, but with a little bit of TLC I would rate it a 5.

Very relaxing and peaceful!

Myself 48F, my mom 71F, and my aunt 73F stayed Saturday to Friday and loved the main living area (kitchen, living room, dining table) that had floor to ceiling windows and 2 sliding glass doors to access the deck. Interior was very clean, beds were comfortable, and kitchen was very well stocked with pots/pans, mixing bowls, Pyrex, and most any cooking utensil you could need. Gas station/convenience store 1/2 mile from house, Wood’s grocery store (less than 2 miles), several restaurants, a couple dispensaries, and other stores within 3-4 miles, and a very nice indoor community pool for lap swimming and water aerobics in Laurie. We rented the Tritoon and it was the perfect size for this lake and stable even with choppy water. Like many lake houses, the sections of the house are on split levels. Garage has several steps down to bedroom/bathroom level, then several steps down to the main living area & deck, then several steps down to the lower level (bunk room, 2nd living area, and laundry room). Not full flights of stairs - more like 10 steps. There is a full flight of steps from the deck to the boat dock. It worked great for us and 2 dachshunds but I would caution anyone that struggles with stairs. Families with toddlers would definitely want to bring 2-3 baby gates. For people with dogs, they will absolute love the deck views, both inside and outside! The 1/2 mile from the house up to Road 5 is a quiet - great for walking dogs. Large grassy space at Scallywags RV park, too.

The house is gorgeous with incredible views of the lake. Check was smooth over the phone while still enroute and we were allowed in early, Cleaning crew was leaving as we arrived. Wi-Fi and AC worked very well all week which was a blessing due to the heat. There are some minor issues that need to be addressed, skylight leaks in the rain, which were shared with Randy. Unfortunately we could not drink the water but was advised of that just before arriving and could bring extra bottled water. Overall it was an great first experience with VRBO on the Lake of the Ozarks.

The view

The house is in a good location. The view is absolutely wonderful. Our complaint was the cleanliness. The shower wasn’t cleaned. The microwave had food from previous people. Something had leaked in fridge that wasn’t cleaned out. The carpet under table looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a while. I’m big on cleanliness so this a big deal for me. Also we had to contact the property mgr for something. He took care of it and was very friendly. We visited HA HA State park. It’s very nice. Overall it was a good stay.

Outstanding Property

Enjoyed 8 nights of lakefront living in this beautiful home. The covered dock and boat slip were perfect in rainy weather. We fished day and night off this dock, catching limits of crappie, catfish & bass. Host was responsive to our needs, answered questions, and stayed in touch prior to check in. House was clean and everything in working order. As with most lake homes, stairs and steep inclines are expected. Would not recommend to those with mobility issues, but otherwise perfect for those who don't mind stairs in the home and leading to the water. Home is close to the water and cove is truly no-wake as advertised.

Perfect lake house rental

Perfectly located lake house. Protected dock from the main channel and boat launch near by. The house was clean and spacious with amazing sunrises from the deck.

I really enjoyed our time at this lake house. It was very quiet and check in was well explained. I do recommend reading all the instructions prior to going, but would encourage anyone to check this place out!

Good Stay

Check in was easy. Property view and location is top notch. Beds/sheets clean. Towels had a musty smell when wet. Had to empty the dish washer and empty the dryer and fold. Property is older and dated but ok for the nightly price. The house could use a handyman to fix up some of the minor things that annoy homeowners. For off season it was fine. I would not stay there again. But if 250 a night is your budget then this would be just fine. Not a bad VRBO, just an older house with older house issues. 4 star for the stay. off season

Great stay!

We had a retirement party to go to at Papa Chubby’s so we rented this house for the weekend with two other couples. Check in was easy and the house was very nice. No issues or complaints.

Beautiful Lake View

Perfect place for our family Thanksgiving. Great location. Beautiful view of the lake. Plenty of space for us. Guys enjoyed fishing and family together time was much needed. Would go back in a heartbeat.
