Our stay at ibis Osaka was excellent. The front office team went above and beyond by preparing a comfortable, good-sized room and a lovely welcome card with snacks to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Their kindness and attention to detail made our trip memorable. Highly recommended
Clean room and bathroom. Front desk staff were helpful during check in and when we stored our baggage after check out. There was a currency converter machine near the front desk which was helpful when trying to convert cash. Osaka JR station was an easy walking distance from hotel. There is also a metro station next by a Lawson that is a few steps walking distance from the hotel.
Great location near Osaka/Umeda Station, very convenient for sightseeing. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable, with everything you need. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good value for money—perfect for a budget stay in Osaka.
This a cheap hotel but it's orderly and there are no wholes in the furniture but the room is gross. the toolset bidet is gross . the dust is so thick. the carpet is scary and I saw a roach. however the bed sheets were clean I check and the tiny towel I had for the 3 night was clean. if I didn't pay for all the nights up front I would have left.
This ended up being a great little spot to stay for a few nights while in Osaka. The rooms are tiny and hotel is modest, but well kept and for the price was a great option. Available buffet breakfast in the hotel (not included, but available for ¥2,000) was convenient. Location was great in terms of accessing various things via transit, and the Umeda area itself offers lots to explore within walking distance. Hotel staff were really helpful, and even arranged to have our luggage shipped ahead to our next hotel in Tokyo (cost us about ¥3,100 for a large suitace). If you're planning to mostly be out of the hotel and are just looking for an affordable, convenient location to have a bed for the night - would recommend!
Despite requesting a quiet room, I was assigned one facing a busy road and barely slept due to traffic noise and a neighboring room’s alarm. There was also an unpleasant sewer smell from the bathroom. While check-in was smooth and one of the evening receptionists was kind and pleasant, the overall stay was disappointing.
As the name suggests, the hotel is nothing fancy, but the location is great and the reception provides basic amenities which you can take as ypu need. The staff is amazing and helpful. Our biggest issue was getting a non-smoking room on a floor, often flooded with cigarette smell, which got into the room despite closed doors. They gave us a different room on another floor, which appeared to be overall in better shape and which we can't complain about. The walls are a bit thin and you can hear next door, but if you don't mind that, it's a great option to stay at.
