It was great to have a washer in the apartment style hotel. I wish cooking utensils were included to use the stove but sadly they are not. Lot of local places to eat that are good. 10 minute walk to train stations. Close to convenience stores!

This is a luxury stay in a nice neighborhood. Although it’s not in the center of the most popular spots, it’s nice to get away and be more local. Our favorite bar and restaurant in our two week Japan trip were a result of staying at Merbabu. Some of the functions of the lighting and tub were difficult because the instructions were not clear, but other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Decent sized room suited for families

We're a party of 3 and had 2 double sized beds, plus space for our luggages. The room also has a washing machine which is convenient. Location is quiet, around 5mins walk from a metro station.

Very modern room which had everything you would need from a microwave and fridge, kitchen, coffee and tea and also all bathroom supplies. Authentic eateries nearby and a short walk to transport. Very easy to self check-in with good instructions provided. Would stay here again.

Despite a slow start due to using touch pad for checking in process where I had to WRITE on screen instead of typing in details, the room was spacious compared with other hotels in Japan and very clean. Great amenities inside the room including the projector and nice bath. Will be more than happy to stay there again on our next visit to Osaka!
