We were too busy to get to the restaurants in town, but the bakery was delicious and the town was beautiful to walk through. We appreciated the welcome bottle of wine, bread, and hanutas! The 6am clock tower bells caught us off guard, but after a couple days we were able to sleep through them. Overall we're so happy with our stay and would highly recommend to others!"

"Willy was so nice. I wanted an authentic German HOuse experience. Nothing fancy at all, but price was amazing!"

Sehr gefallen hat uns die Ruhe und der freie Ausblick auf Felder und Wiesen. Obwohl der Obernzenner See zur Zeit noch geleert ist, gibt es viele Ausflugsmöglickeiten und Wanderangebote im angrenzenden Weinanbaugebiet. "Quiet house in small town. Great place for our family of 4 adults and two small children. Two full bathrooms, each with a shower. Well equipped kitchen. Laundry facilities included dryer! Friendly owners who take very good care of the place. We definitely would stay there again."

Auch mit Hofhündin Elli haben wir uns schnell angefreundet. Sie beißt nicht, ist aber sehr verschmust. Auch mit Ehrenfriede hatten wir schöne Gespräche. Wenn es passt, kommen wir gerne wieder!"

"Perfect location inside the old city walls, next to the famous picture you see everywhere online. Staff were friendly, rooms were nice. Within walking distance of everything. They offered parking, but we'd already parked in a public lot, but it seemed convenient. Breakfast was good. Our shower wasn't the best. Had to hold the shower head, as there wasn't anywhere to hang it high enough to use it hands free. But it got the job done. Wish we'd stayed another night it was so pleasant."

The rooms were great and comfortable. They had AC! Breakfast was fantastic. Communication was great. All reasons to give the hotel 5 stars. But then there's the location. Just steps away from central Rothenburg and less than a minute's walk the the market square. 5 stars ( but only because I can't give it more). "
