The apartment exceeded our expectations and certainly met our needs. We had a bit of difficulty accessing the property with the App when we checked it but the problem was resolved within 30 minutes. We also were without a TV for couple of nights. The problem was resolved by the delivery of a remote. Unfortunately, on our last evening the elevator was not working. As we were walking down the poorly lit stairway my wife slipped and fell 2 or 3 steps. Fortunately nothing was broken, just a couple of bruises. Also fortunately, the elevator was working by our check-out time avoiding the need to carry our luggage down 5 flights of stairs.

Very nice apartment but very close to club and laud on night on weekends. But i still recomend, very close to buses, trains, market and museums 🙂

A really cute apartment that was comfortable and functional. Near the Stolli tram and bus stop which made it very easy to get around Oslo. It’s right above a nightclub so bear that in mind!! That being said, still pretty quiet!

This apartment is spacious for a family or group. It is has easy access to public transportation right around the corner. There are restaurants below and a grocery store around the corner. It was clean and well cared for.

Great little apartment close to the city centre. Much closer than you think. Walkable but around the corner from the tram stop with really great links to the rest of the city and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby if you wanted to stay in that area. Nicely decorated, well looked after and very warm! Easy to communicate with the rental company. The key to the apartment and Entry is via an app which you have to download beforehand. One thing I will mention is that we could have slept much better due to the terrible pillows. They were so thin they may as well not have bothered with them at all and gave us all a bad night sleep.

Give this place a miss!
The elevator wasn’t working and we carried luggage up to the 4th floor! The heating in living room didn’t work well either. Overall, not a pleasant stay and wouldn’t stay again.

The Van Der key app worked great, but there was a lot of communication about needing to pick up a physical key around the corner, which we did. But it turned out everything could be opened with the app so it's not clear why we needed to pick up the fob. Otherwise, the place was nice, reasonably priced, and well-located. There are a couple of shops and restaurants nearby and the tram and train stations are not far.

So pros about the property, right next to some restaurants, shops, grocery, bus and tram stop. Only about 0.7 miles walking to the National palace or national theatre and the main shopping street. The heated floors in the bathroom were nice, bathroom also had a combo washer/dryer which I didn’t know. The apartment building does have an elevator, not sure why the information page says it doesn’t, maybe in case it doesn’t work. There is only a heater, no AC if you go during the summer months. Cons: getting in the key fob only works on the smaller, less obvious pad. Not the giant one that accesses the rest of the units or businesses. Yes, there are other businesses in the building but did not appear to be on the same level as the apartments. If you stay there on a Friday or a Saturday night, be warned the nightclub Dorsia (right next to the apartment) is open from 10pm to 3am. My apartment was on the fourth floor and faced the other side of the building but you can definitely hear the bass. You have to sort and empty your own garbage (Norway is big on proper recycling) but the larger garbage cans are outside of the building, around the corner and in an alley. It wasn’t obvious to me. The pillows seem to be made of the same stuff as the comforters so would flatten out within minutes. No neck support whatsoever.

The property is in a good area of the city - walking distance to areas of interest and to the waterfront. Lots of places to eat nearby. And was close to major transportation hubs and train lines.

The area was nice, but the apartment was on a club. For the three nights I stayed thur, fri, sat) there was very high music till 3 am. No air conditioning. No people on site to help. The number I was given to call was answered from someone in Sweden who did not have any idea how to help me. This place was highly priced and one I would no recommend to anyone

I was disappointed that this apartment advertised with a view of the water front. There were multiple key pads to use but the customer support peopled did not know which one I had to use for the code to get in the front door.

Very Good apartment, nothing fancy, no staff on site, everything functions well, no issues. Make sure to read emails to understand the access code process. Lots of amenities near by, close to the City Center. A little pricey for what it offers. Overall a positive experience.

The good: Property is modern, spacious and with nice art touches throughout. Great location. The bad: We arrive in Oslo in the evening. Property said they'd give me a code for the door of the apartment by 3pm. Nothing. I emailed them and then I get a code like 1 hr latet. They clearly forgot. I get to the property at around 9pm and the code doesn't work. We are at the right apartment, using the right code and it doesn't work! Nobody answers since they closed already. There's no front desk. Is not a hotel is an apartment complex. My two kids are sleeping in the hallway next to our bags. Finally a good Samaritan (who needed to talk to management because he had equipment problems in his unit) finds an obscure phone number buried in the lease contract they send you and the maintenance guy answers his personal phone and remotely opens the door for us. After 2 hours! The property of course wouldn't take any responsibility and claimed they sent me the code on time and that it should work. They lied. So, great apartment, great location, AWFUL customer service.

I booked this apartment for a family break where I could also work, so internet connection was crucial. When I checked in, the wifi did not work. I called the management no fewer than nine times during my stay to see about fixing the wifi. I also emailed five times. In every one of those calls, I was told that they were “looking into it” and “addressing it”. However, no action was taken. No technician or staffer was sent over. No replacement router was offered. I was repeatedly told it would be fixed. It was not. Also, the place stank. Literally. There was a heavy smell of beef and sweat in the hallways.

We would have liked some printed or online information about the apartment (where to put garbage, how to use tv, internet code, etc), as well as a specific description of checkout requirements. We left things very clean but couldn’t imagine how to launder and replace linens etc on our travel schedule - it seemed like this was a requirement in the very sparse checkout info!. No need for human contact, but there was literally zero information about the apartment or the neighborhood or transportation options - nothing.

The best information about Oslo is found at the tourist information, but we are working on our web page to offer details about our areas. We were misled by the name and we went to Bjorvika Apartments which was just next to the Central Station. Our train arrived at round 11 p.m. and the office was closed. We called the contact numbers of the security office. We spent quite sometime to figure out that the location should be Frognerveien 1, 3 metro stops away. On our way to metro station for Frognerveien, we met the security staff who was looking for us in the street. He told us not to worry and we could call him anytime for assistance. He was helpful and responsible.

Lovely apartment, perfect location
We really enjoyed staying in Frognerveien 1. The location is perfect. Close to National Theatre station for the express train to the airport, there are plenty of shops and restaurants close by, and it is an easy walk to the city centre. The tram outside will take you to the shopping area of Bogstadveien and Majorstuen from where it is a short walk to the lovely Frogner Park - or you can take the T-bane up the mountain to the ski jump at Holmenkollen. The apartment itself is perfect - comfortable bed, stylish living space, well-equipped kitchen and a lovely bathroom with underfloor heating. Even a little balcony accessed from the bedroom which would be perfect in summer. We would certainly stay there again when we next go to Oslo.

Stayed there with Family for 4 nights. Sofa pillows and carpets smell of Cigarette smoke. Apartment on 6th floor with lift mostly faulty. Had to Carry baby and luggage 6 floor up and down. Upon complaint no actions or apologies instead you get the answer: we are aware about the issue but we do not own the building, it may get fixed. Please keep an eye out. Not mentioned about check in process is not at described. Even after paying the full amount in advance you do not get code for the apartment and you have to ring 3 times to get entry code to find out check in is not ready as per description and cleaners are still working on it. Again, no apologies from the reception desk.

Appartement situé juste au-dessus d’un bar de nuit extrêmement bruyant, un véritable calvaire qui dure jusqu’à 2h et 3h du matin une grande partie de la semaine. DJ set en live depuis votre lit garanti. Impossible de savoir à l’avance puisque la véritable adresse n’est pas communiquée au moment de la réservation, elle est transmise au dernier moment. Séjour totalement gâché. Ajoutez à ça une galette de quelques centimètres d’épaisseur en guise de matelas et des oreillers dans le même esprit et vous comprendrez que cet hébergement n’est pas adapté aux personnes qui entendent dormir un minimum à un moment de leur séjour.. Gel douche rempli au minimum à notre arrivée, le fond de flacon mis à notre disposition a été terminé après 2 nuits (sur 7). 2 rouleaux de papier toilettes pour 2 pour 7 jours.. Il n’y a pas de petites économies visiblement. Aucune prestation de ménage le temps du séjour bien que, de mémoire, 25% du prix soient ajoutés au coût de la réservation. Pour finir sur une note positive : emplacement central et appartement à la décoration conforme aux photos.

Arriver autonome même pas à l’adresse que j’ai réserver et cela prévu 1j avant. Arriver sur place l’accès de la serrure automatique via application de fonctionne pas. La personne au téléphone ne comprends rien du tout obliger d’attendre 30min au téléphone pour que la personne nous dises de ressayer 20fois de la même façon sous la pluie avec toutes nos affaire dans le froid. Après s’être énervé quelqu’un vient physiquement pour nous dire qu’on est à 300m et que on a pas la bonne adresse. Une fois arriver entrée et hall ne sent pas bon, sale et mal entretenue. Appartement avec salle de bain et canapé sale des cheveux partout. L’appartement ne sentais pas très bon et pour faire à manger le seul équipent : une casserole. Pas de poêle ni rien d’autre. La tele ne fonctionne même pas correctement. Pas d’endroit pour poser les valises avant 15h. Salle de bain ou en se douchant l’eau coule jusqu’à en dessous des toilettes. Enfin bref plus jamais nous regrettons d’avoir réserver ici.
