City experince

The apartment was fabulous! Well equipped, perfectly located, very clean, comfortable beds. Walking distance to city centre. Good local amenities. Morten and Joel were very nice to deal with and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Cleanliness

The apartment was very clean and welcoming. It has easy access to public transportation which was a big plus for our family of 5. A grocery store is next door. An issue we had was there was no air conditioning or fan and the temperature was 84 degrees for all 3 days of our stay - very uncomfortable.

Great Location

Morten was wonderful. He gave us recommendations for sites and restaurants. It's a 10 minute walk to the Munch museum and many restaurants. We enjoyed our time in Oslo. (We were unable to empty the dryer water tray because of the shower and ended up not using the machines.) The apartment was perfect for us.

Easy Accessibility

We were three adults with three days in Oslo before heading north. Good location, about 5 blocks from the railway station, Munch Museum and other harbor attractions. Two blocks in the opposite direction is a Middle Eastern neighborhood with several good restaurants. Apartment clean, host helpful and everything seemed to work..

Morten met us at the airport and spent a good deal of time to tell us about good places to go. He had maps and pamphlets available as well as books. He has a great book on The Minch museum. There is an elevator in the building. The views are nice from the apartment and the size is great for 2 couples, except for the shower. If you are a very large person you will need to sponge bath as the shower doors are rounded and in the corner of the bathroom next to the stackable washer and dryer. We are not large people so it worked for us. The kitchen is very nice. Dishwasher, stove included and a nice size fridge and freezer. The location is great in relation to the bus and train station. You can walk to many restaurants, the Opera House, the Munch Museum. You could do a leisurely walk to the ferries (which are free), the. National museum, the Nobel Prize Center and Royal palace or rent bikes or electric scooters but the transportation pass was really helpful. We especially needed it to go to Vingeland park and out to the swimming beaches.
