The breakfast was fantastic!!! The location was great-just a block off the the main pedestrian zone and between the train station and national museum. Room and bathroom were small, but nice and the bed was comfortable. Only negative was that the carpet in the room and hallways were pretty stained and could really be replaced.

Exactly what I expected (except the drunk singers)
Currently doing a hop-scotch trip (many countries for short periods of time) and this was just what I was looking for. Not too fancy and not too expensive. My only warning is the neighborhood is NOISY, so either bring earplugs or be prepared to constantly wake up due to drunk people shout-singing outside until at least 3 in the morning.

Bergen
If you book the cheapest room be prepared to carry your luggage down a flight of stairs to your room. We used lift to floor 3 then had to cross a covered walkway to the newer part of the hotel and go down the stairs to access our room. Location is fine with a Bergen card as could access a bus or tram to go anywhere.

Good location but very noisy with drunks partying outside past 3 am . Must keep your window closed- hotel is well sound proofed. Killer breakfast included for us and well worth it- eggs made several different ways, salmon, smoked mackerel, wonderful bakery breads, fruits, pastry, etc etc. hotel could be cleaner but not terrible- was met with a pile of trash on the floor when we got off the elevator- I assumed from housekeeping but not a good welcome!

The breakfast is amazing..or the review would be worse. No heat in the room. No one available when checking out. No one to call for a taxi. No breakfast on check out day though we were promised there would be. Other than the person originally checking us in, the front desk continually passed the buck. By no means the full service experience we were expecting.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to store big bags between stays. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The breakfast was very good and good variety including omelette and fried eggs which we did not have anywhere else in Scandinavia. Good location-10min to train station There was noise from the trams. We had to get breakfast to go and the man was reluctant to give us water.

The weather was unseasonably warm and with no air conditioning and a window that did not open, it was incredibly warm in the room. We asked to be moved to another room and was told that it was completely booked. However, they did give us a small fan to use overnite. One of our group was given a room on the highest floor with windows that opened, however the noise from the streets till after 4 in the morning made it difficult for her to sleep. The breakfast provided was excellent, many choices, very well made.

Nice hotel convenient for Oslo centre
The hotel is convenient for the station, so airport as well. It is also a short walk to the harbour (nice boat ride to museum area), town hall and palace. Smallish but comfortable room and good breakfast.

Hot and stuffy
We stayed two nights in a standard room in early June. The breakfast was excellent and our room, although small, was clean and comfortable. The main problem was the lack of air conditioning, or even ventilation in the room. As a result it was hot and stuffy, making sleep difficult. The hallways are air conditioned. There was an unusual heat wave at the time although the room would likely be hot all summer. The room had a small window that was locked and the hotel would not open the window if we were in the room, citing safety concerns. This could easily be fixed by attaching a short cable to control the window opening, as many other hotels have. There are more expensive rooms with windows we saw opened, but the rooms are on the street side which is very noisy with trams passing every few minutes. A minor issue is that one of the two elevators has been temporarily out of service since March 21. There are other Scandic hotels in Oslo so maybe check them out first or look at different hotels.

Awful Hotel
Customer service was awful. Our TV was not working and I had gone down to the front desk to ask for help and they said no one was available until 10 AM the next day. This was unacceptable because we were only staying one night and I was sick staying in. Finally he said he could send someone up at 10/10:15 PM (2 hours after I originally had asked for help) and no one showed. I walked back down to front desk and the new employee had said that they made a note on my account that I had gone out and was not in my room and to check in upon return. I HAVE NO IDEA how the man before made that assumption because I was in my PJ’s clearly very sick when I came down to ask for help. Long story short, TV was never fixed and they did nothing to compensate or apologize for the inconvenience. Worst hotel/customer service I have ever experienced.

3 days in the city of silence
When we arrived, we were greeted by a lovely receptionist from Sweden. If it was not for her, we would have only had our bed in the room for sitting and relaxing as apparently these economy rooms have no side tables with one or two chairs or armchairs to sit on when you rest in a room. On our request, she promptly got a chair for our room. There was plenty of space for an armchair and a side table in one corner of the room. Also our reclining beds had an automatic option of adjusting the head and leg area but bed's remot control did not work on my side and my feet were very tired after a whole day of walking so I had had a hope to lift them up through the night. The next day, we had to speak with a cleaning lady, which was so kind to fix the problem promptly but these things should have been checked before our arrival.

Very comfortable beds and nice breakfast (especially the make yourself waffles). Room was quite small with not a lot of storage space but bed very comfortable. We were low down so a bit dark. No bath and no sauna on the premises (can use sauna at nearby Scandic). On pur first day breakfast room was very crowded and we had to wait for a table but fine on Sunday morning. Good value for city centre.

Clean, modern and comfortable stay in city centre.
Clean and modern room hotel, within 10 mins walking distance from Oslo Central station. Nearby to many restaurants and convenient shop. Bed was comfort and pillow perhaps too soft, the shower is the strongest ever shower I have. The rooms size is adequete for 2 people, no wardrobe but with a lot of hanging place in the whole room; no writing desk/ makeup desk in room. Good breakfast room with varies of choices. Overall a good stay, good customers services.

Convenient location
Good location - about 10 minute walk from Oslo S rail station. Rooms small but cosy and adequate with very comfortable bed. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Only complaint would be lack of blackout curtains. I imagine this could be a real issue in mid-summer with the very long days.

Great Location and Fantastic Breakfast
Great service and location, breakfast was fantastic. The only downside was that our room was right above the entrance into the building which different offer much privacy when wanting to leave the window open, however when we closed the window there weren’t any sound issues which was something we were worried about. Overall, a great stay in a location with the best breakfast options of our entire trip!
