Fine hotel, terrible air con.

Hotel was fine, good location and good amenities. The rooms are basic and aircon was horrible and had no optional control, it rumbled away all night when there was no need for it to be on.

The whole establishment was wonderful parking underground rooms spacious and safe to access Full gym and sauna on sight beautiful cuisine for the restaurant and the breakfast choice was unheard off If all thin hotels are like this one Then good on you you’ve nailed it Thanks I’ll be searching for Thon hotels in the future when I return to Norway next year

Friendly staff. No restaurant open on sunday for late lunch. Noisy room overlooking a busy road. Very hot in the room although we tried to adjust the AC. Extremely soft bed, uncomfortable to sleep in. No conditioner in the shower. Coffee machines in the lobby were out of order.

We informed the receptionist that our safe was locked open and we couldn’t use it. No one came to fix the issue after a reminder so we needed to keep our valuables with us at all times. The car parking is very expensive, also we were misinformed about local parking rates too. On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent and had good gluten free options at a separate counter

The checkin was very smooth and person was quite helpful. We liked how easy it was to get to bus and trains as bus stop was right across street from hotel. The room was a nice size and good for our purposes. The shower setup was not the best as just have glass that covers half of bathtub area so always have water all over floor which need to dry so do not slip. Second tried calling twice for room service since restaurant closed Sundays and eventually after 2 calls over 10 minutes went to reception since no answer which I know happens. Ordered but price was different on placard in our room than what I was charged. When showed reception card they said the price changed a while ago. This did not feel right but paid extra cost. Food came and spaghetti noodles instead of taglatielle which was on menu so was a bit disappointed. However, breakfast buffet made up for the room service as many options and liked a lot. Plus location worked well for us since used trains and busses. Would not recommend Uber as quite expensive if going to Oslo. Overall it was convenient and worked for our purposes.
