The Thon Hotel Storno is a little bit outside the center of Oslo, but it is only a short walk to the train station and then a ten minute ride to Oslo centrum. Simply _amazing_ breakfast, beautiful, clean, quiet room.

Will definitely go back.
The breakfast is really good. Lot of varieties and taste really good. You could request late check out without additional charge. Bonus if you plan to use the flybus to airport, just keep the hotel’s card holder paper and show to bus driver, then you will get almost NOK 50 discount. It is also near public transportations.

High quality hotel, a little beyond Oslo city centre, but easily accessible by public transport (bus, tram, metro). Good rooms, excellent breakfast. Staff courteous and polite. Some staff members went the extra mile to help us; others were less forthcoming (and more formal), though none were unhelpful. Thon Storo was much the better of the two hotels we stayed in in Oslo on this visit. We would definitely return. Overall, we were quite impressed and felt that we had chosen well.

Very clean hotel. The continental breakfast was well worth the price of the hotel for one night. Huge variety of food. Would highly recommend.

Much good but not location
Appreciated the helpful staff, comfortable bed & comforters, traditional hangers & washable floor. The breakfast is an absolutely phenomenal buffet! The location is well away from the sites of interest. Disappointed that it came up as being in the the city center. It's more suburban with mall & fast food. Changed hotels to be in the city center to not have to waste time in transit. Pillows need to be washed periodically. Don't fill frig with products to sell.

I am sorry to see that the location of the hotel was not as you expected. The information on the page where you booked your stay, is that the hotel is out of the city centre, but with close access to public transportation. The map also states that the hotel is not in the middle of the city. I hope that we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back to us the next time you visit Oslo.

Nice comfy bed!
We stayed at The Thon Hotel in Bergen for 3 nights in September. It was the first stop on an almost 3 week trip. The rooms were big and had everything you may need. Plenty of food and drink options within 200 m of the hotel and a tram station. Very easy to get anywhere in the city quickly The bed was incredibly comfortable. Might be the most comfortable hotel bed i’ve ever had in Europe. Nice and soft and with big pillows and comforter. Definitely recommend here over downtown.

Can't fault this hotel at all. No quibble early check in, endless breakfast options. Water and tea/coffee facilities all day. Great location- 25min tram ride from centre of Oslo. Comfortable room and bed. Sad to leave. Highly recommend

There was nothing unique about this hotel, unless you count excellent as unique. Wonderful hotel, close to transport. Great staff. Has the lot, they are doing everything right. Even got a discount on my second booking.

Best breakfast I had for a long time. One of the best buffet breakfasts and I had many in my life. Besides that, the hotel is new and comfortable. About 45 min drive from the Airport, but not in the center of Oslo. So I can't say the location is great. The facilities UI were a bit hard for my understanding, but the hotel people helped me with that. Parking for the hotel is pretty expensive and the hotel itself is not cheap either, but the breakfast ... may worth it all. :-)

Our stay was amazing. Hotel is neat and tidy and staff very very friendly and helpful. Location of hotel is good with a big shopping center about 2 mins walk. Also Oslo City Center just a few minutes away by train. Breakfast was excellent with lots of variety to choose from.

A wonderful hotel
Wonderful Hotel, great staff and beautiful room. Location was interesting but it was just a stopover on our way to the airport. I’m sure if we have stayed longer we would’ve appreciated all of the facilities nearby

Excellent rooms and restaurant. Dinner and breakfast the morning after were outstanding. Malin at the front desk was both cheerful and very helpful.

Great stay
We only got to be here for a few hours - very late flight and morning checkout - but everything was wonderful and all the staff were super helpful and kind. Breakfast was great as well. My brother lives about a 10-minute walk from here and we will definitely be back the next time we’re in Oslo.
