"Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen und man hat eine schöne Aussicht aus dem Wohnzimmer und vom Sitzplatz direkt am Haus. Es hat uns im Haus nichts gefehlt.Der Freisitz ist leider nicht nutzbar, weil zugewachsen. Wir können Ausflüge nach Sogndal, Helleren, Egersund und eine Wanderung auf dem Blaafjellvegen empfehlen. Aber man kann auch schön direkt vom Haus aus los wandern."

"Exceptional, to the small details. My first bath floor matt after two weeks in Norway. Everything provided in the kitchen: oil, s&p, spices, detergent, sponge..., New construction with great appliances and fixtures. Private and well sited away from the main house, with great view of the ocean. Host was a great communicator and checked throughout that everything was ok. I highly recommend it."

"We’ve had five wonderful days in Hægeland. Knapen is a fantastic country estate that’s sure to help you relax. It’s a cozy house with a great mix of modern and historic interiors. The garden offers plenty of space to roam and many areas for dining, relaxing, and activities. Among other things, we explored the lovely Sandland swimming spot, the log flume in Vennesla, the Mineral Park in Evje, and Kristiansand.
