Stained carpets in the hallways and rooms (we had 3), cracked and stained sinks in the rooms, and scuffs on the walls. The stuff was very friendly. The room was clean, but very small. If you arrive with a small suitcase it is fine. But if you have stuff for skiing you will not find any place or cupboard to store your items. They don’t have a dry room. So you have to leave your Ski equipment in the lobby and the stuff ...

The place is wide and if you travel with children they can enjoy the bathtub and the spacious place.

Fantastic
Nice view of canal though it’s very short. Interesting shops along the walking street. Great sweet cafes! The music box museum is more like souvenir shop. About a half day should be enough time to explore Otaru.
