"Very clean new villa whole family loved the private pool, the local supermarket was good for produce so quite a few kebabs and bbq outside the villa relaxing in the fantastic sunsets with a glass of wine. locally we preferred agios Georgios beach rather than Arillas but having car helped explore lots, some good taverna just a short drive. "For a budget hotel, it was incredible. Clean rooms. Comfy beds. Spacious and all the facilities you need. Breakfast was lovely, staff were lovely. We hope to return in 2026 if there are some good deals on. Highly recommend this property. Particularly for a short break. "

"Picture suites is a rare find - it is immaculate and so welcoming . The staff are a credit and cannot do enough for their guests but without intrusion . "We stayed at Akron as a family of 4, with a 3 year old and a 2 year old. It was a really great resort to stay for what we wanted, which was to have all amenities on site or nearby. We went half board, we’d planned to just do bed and breakfast but it was only £1 a night more for half board when I booked. But we’re so glad we did, the food was varied each night, it was tasty, and it made it way easier with the 2 kids. You also get local beer or wine included at dinner even if you’re not all inclusive which was nice. The breakfast also had lots of variety. Staff also really lovely. We stayed in a superior maisonette - 2 storey with a balcony on the lower floor. No swim up pool. We actually had our 2 kids sleep upstairs in the master room (2yo in a cot and 3yo in the bed) and we slept on the twin beds in the living area. There’s a steep set of stairs between the floors that you don’t really want young kids going up or down on their own and you can’t block them off from the living area. So. With the kids upstairs we could keep them safe in the bedroom with the door closed and not have to sneak past them during nap time or after their bed time to use the bathroom or go on the balcony. The pool area is great and doesn’t ever feel crowded, the kids pool is about 2 ft deep all over so not “paddle depth” at any point. So kids who can’t swim always need arm bands etc. Canal d’amour beach literally 1 min walk from pool. 10+ restaurants a 5 min walk from reception."
