"We had the sweetest stay at Postcard Cabins near Starved Rock. The setting was peaceful and the views were beautiful — exactly the quiet reset we needed. We loved relaxing by the campfire and really appreciated all the thoughtful amenities: coffee, hot cocoa, oatmeal, water, and plenty of firewood. The bed was super comfortable and the whole cabin felt cozy and well cared for. It was a perfect getaway with my husband and we’re already planning to come back."

"Every staff member we encountered was SO friendly! The young man and woman at the front desk, breakfast staff-the tall man and shot woman (she said the staff calls her “Shortie” were all lovely! So many times at hotels, the staff acts like the guests are a bother, but this staff all behaved as though they were happy to be there. So refreshing! The coffee-brewed to order 24/7 was wonderful. Room was clean and comfortable. No complaints! "

"We had a wonderful Christmas stay with our family in this charming Victorian home! We have always been fascinated with these kinds of homes, and this one did not disappoint! Everything about the place was as described. The host was extremely accommodating and quick to respond to a couple of questions we had. The house was even roomier than we thought it would be. We especially enjoyed watching the river traffic from the dining rooms and the deck. We highly recommend this place and would stay here again!"

"We had an absolute blast at this VRBO! One of the best parts was that everyone genuinely put their phones away—we were too busy playing nonstop. Air hockey, ping pong, basketball, and card games were the biggest hits, and the sheer amount of games and activities available was astonishing. There truly was something for everyone.In the evenings, we loved winding down together in the movie room, which made for such relaxing, quality family time. The layout was perfect for our group—having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was a huge plus and made everything so comfortable.This was also the most well-stocked VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. From coffee to snacks and drinks, they really thought of everything. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for fun, connection, and comfort all in one!"
