Perfect base for visiting Ottawa! If you have a car, staying on the Gatineau side is a smart choice when visiting Ottawa. It is just a short drive across the river and significantly cheaper than downtown Ottawa hotels. It offers wonderful value, and we would happily stay here again.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was nice and spacious with updated shower and bathroom which were very nice. Everything worked in the room. Good room darkening blinds as well. AC worked well.

The hotel is well situated if you want to explore Gatineau, staff is kind and the room is neat. The only downside was the fact that our second room was not ready and we had to wait until we check in. At least some little compensation was offered to us, which was appreciated.

Great stay! It was walking distance to Labreton flats which was perfect. A/C was loud which helped with not hearing other people in the lobby. Got woken up by housekeeping at 9am as we did not put our do not disturb sign. We hadn’t signed out yet. If you do not want this happening to you I would recommend putting your do not disturb sign. Food for breakfast was delicious! Overall great stay.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful , room was cleaned daily , beds comfortable , had a corner room with a nice view and was very quiet . Across the street from the history museum which was nice but aside from that the museum was nothing close by the hotel or open before 8am or after 7pm. Parking was 22.00 a day , dont use the underground parking as it was a tight gut driving in the garage and trying to get in and out. Use the outside lot right in front of the hotel instead Close to the bridges to walk over to ottawa to spend the day there visiting museums , parliment etc . Lady dive is amazing , def would recommend getting tickets for the tour. Def better to book a hotel or room on the ottawa side as they offer alot of tours and there is alot of places to explore ,

I wasn’t comfortable about the no air conditioning in the lobby/restaurant. Disappointed about the swimming pool not being open. Apparently, it hasn’t been open since Covid. The food & service in the restaurant was great! Well maintained & peaceful. Good Luck!
