This was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. The room was very comfortable, the staff were all pleasant, room service was delicious and the location was perfect for exploring Ottawa. Will definitely stay here again when in our nation’s capital.

Third time staying at Le Germain and we are always very impressed. The rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed. The location is perfect for exploring the Byward Market or other downtown attractions like Parliament or the National Gallery. If we could give a rating above ‘excellent’ for the staff we would. They have always been exceptional at every single point of contact, whether you are asking for help or just passing them in the hallway. I just wish there was more parking available and that the parking garage wasn’t so tight. But at this point we wouldn’t consider booking anywhere else for our annual trip to Ottawa.

This is a very nice, sophisticated, upscale hotel a block away from the Rideau Centre and a 5 minute walk to restaurants and the ByWard Market. The rooms are boutique style , well appointed with bathrobe and slippers, its environmentally conscience and the staff were very friendly. There is underground parking for a fee, which you can self-park or use valet. This is our 3rd time staying at this hotel when visiting Ottawa. A side note on housekeeping tips - the room key holder has a QR code to leave a tip, but it charges an admin fee - good option if you don't have cash but best to leave a cash tip. There is also trendy restaurant on the second floor with a cool vibe and good food. It's a great location for visiting Parliament and the downtown core. The downtown / ByWard Market area has a lot homeless people and drug users, but its not unlike any other major city with tourist areas we've been to. It is heartbreaking and humbling, but something to be aware of.

Very modern, lots of large big windows, turn down service each night with a clean teapot and camomile tea, helpful concierge for restaurant and activity recommendations huge bathroom and I loved the in-room radio playing when we entered. Everything was excellent.
