"This property was a working farm and we stayed 4 nights in a house over 100 years old. We had a large room on the 2nd floor and shared a bathroom with the other guests. "We really enjoyed staying at this lovely cottage. The setting was very quiet. There were goats and chickens right next to the cottage that were quite entertaining. The wood stove kept the cottage warm and cozy. We stayed in the king bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and was very clean. "Clean safe no hidden charges...easy parking,,acommadeting staff...only remote critiscm is although the walk to steelstacks is short..it's dark and vague and a bit errie at night...I would think WInd Creek has little control over that but if they do they should work on it..especially the lighting "

"The parking lot was packed when we checked in. However, we were fortunate enough to get a space because of my handicap placard. In addition, you can hear through the walls when people are talking or running water. That's not pleasant. The grounds are nice, but it's a walk to get to the lobby. There was no connection from our room to the eating area, front desk. I wouldn't give it a low mark, but I may try another hotel for more convenience. Hotel pictures didn't match the ones on Expedia. "
