Located 4 miles north of Ouray, Co. Centrally located between Ouray and Ridgway. Close access to BLM, and Forest Service Hiking Trials. Home includes all the current amenities.

Perfect Colorado Cabin for Two

The Brown Cabin is in a great location. It is surrounded by mountains and trees, has a nice size yard, great decks, nicely decorated, clean, well maintained. It was everything that we were looking for in the Ouray area.

Cozy, comfortable cabin

This is a lovely property with fabulous views and really great outdoor spaces. It is close to Ouray but remote enough to be quiet. I would definitely stay again.

Brown Cabin Ouray

It was a fabulous trip . The cabin is perfect . We got to see hummingbirds, wild turkeys!!! Highly recommend this beautiful cabin!!!

Brown Cabin on the Mountain

This was our third time to visit the Brown Cabin and we have enjoyed it every time. The cabin is comfortable and is just right for two people.

Great Stay!!

We loved this cabin! It was clean and cozy! We would certainly stay there again. It was convenient to both Ouray and Ridgeway. It was in a very quiet area and the view was beautiful! It was so nice to have a washer/dryer.

This is a great place to just enjoy Mother Nature in a comfortable setting. Everything you need for a great get-away from crowds and heat!

Vacation in paradise

The cabin is absolutely perfect...it sets in a beautiful area right off the highway. It was perfectly setup and so close to the areas we plaaned to explore. We would definitely come back. The views were beautiful just sitting and enjoying time there.

A Refreshing Vacay

Even better than it looks

The cabin is beautiful. The photos don't do justice. It's tucked off the road a very short drive to downtown Ouray. The views are amazing, and the cabin is even a little more spacious than we imagined. I highly recommend staying here, and the price is very reasonable.

Cool Cabin!

This is the 3rd consecutive year we have escaped the Texas heat, 100°++!, in the Brown Cabin! It is feeling like our "home away from home"! Who would think a mountain cabin comes with a large lawn, manicured to perfection.? A nice kitchen, bathroom and comfortable bed make our stay a bit on the perfect side. Watching the sun set over the mountain range from the spacious deck wraps up each evening! We look forward to our stay each year.!

Ouray ATV trip

We came to Ouray to rent ATV's and ride in the beautiful mountains. The cabin is in a great location with beautiful views of the mountains. It was very clean and comfortable. It had all that we needed. The window A/C unit was much appreciated due to the warm days. We loved the deck with the BBQ grill and spent our evenings out there looking at the scenery and cooking dinner.

Super cabin

It's hard to imagine that this jewel is just barely off the highway. You really feel much further back into the mountains. The views are spectacular! The hidden porch, which we didn't know anything about before arriving, was awesome. Another spot to enjoy the views from. Late September was an ideal time to enjoy the color changes all around. If in Ouray, or even close, I would definitely opt to stay at this cabin! I shouldn't be telling anyone about it! Must hoard for myself. Kidding. Stay here!

Perfect little retreat

We just spent 6 glorious nights in this perfect little mountain retreat. It was the perfect size for 2 of us. We really enjoyed the Christmas lights even in July. We had dinner on the deck every night and breakfast in the little nook off the kitchen. We watched night fall in the comfortable deck chairs. Don’t miss the little deck at the back of the cabin directly under the breakfast nook. It’s the perfect spot for morning coffee and evening sunsets. I recommend bringing fans. We used ours day and night. We hated to have to leave.

This cozy little cabin was perfect for my wife and me. The view is amazing and it's a great, quiet area removed from the busier areas of town. Carl responded quickly to a question we had prior to check in and was very easy to work with. Highly recommend.

Peaceful Cabin

We enjoyed this cute, quiet cabin. It's conveniently located shortly outside of Ouray, allowing easy access to both Ridgway and Ouray as well as many hiking trails in the area.
