Must stay due to staff, food, location & comfort.

Last minute booking so we could be closer to Etosha but wished we stayed longer. From the moment we checked in we were greeted with warmth and friendliness. We decided to eat at the hotel as we were exhausted even though it was a set menu - best decision we made. The food was something you would expect in a fine dining place! Absolutely delicious and even plated beautifully. Breakfast was the nicest we had our whole trip. Everything was home made and delicious. The best bread I have ever eaten! Benny and the team at Ijaba were all so lovely and sweet. The bed was really comfy and it was nice having a separate lounge room. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting a place within an hr of Etosha National Park

Decent but off road hotel

Nice place and room. Not on main road. Hotel is located inside and road is bumpy unpaved with no lights. Hard to exit in the morning. Dinner included was good. Room was comfortable, we had a living room. Staff accommodated a take away breakfast, we left at 6 am the 2 nights we stayed here. Safe. It had AC.

Vielen Dank für den netten Aufenthalt. Es war unsere erste Unterkunft der Reise und besser hätte die Begrüßung nicht sein können. Sehr nettes Personal, gutes Essen, leckeres Frühstück und alles sehr sauber. Die Lodge ist sehr gut zu erreichen. Outjo mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Tankstellen nicht weit. Die Einfahrt zur Etosha nicht weit. Eine gute Alternative um von hier aus mehrere Tage den Etosha Nationalpark zu erkunden. Wir waren leider nur 1 Nacht da.

Sehr herzliche Betreuung von Penny! Nähe zu Etosha. Wunderbarer Pool. Es war nicht ganz einfach zu finden, weil auf dem Strassenschild ein anderer Name stan. Zum Glück war Ilja auf der Mauer angeschrieben!

Äußerst gastfreundliches Wohlfühl-Hotel!

Wir wurden sofort bei Ankunft herzlich begrüßt, über die Gegebenheiten informiert und zu unseren sehr hübschen, komfortablen individuell gestalteten Zimmern geleitet. Auch die Managerin begrüßte uns persönlich und nahm sich Zeit für ein längeres Gespräch. Die ganze Anlage ist sehr schön gestaltet, mit Lapa, Pool, Restaurant/Bar, Wasserloch und einem kleinen Wanderweg sowie Kennzeichnung vieler Pflanzen für botanisch Interessierte. Mit Glück sieht man Dik-Diks (angefüttert), Bush Babys oder anderes Wild. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und wären gern noch geblieben.
