Cozy cabin for 2, private hot tub, King size bed!

Take a break and unwind at this cozy cabin for two with stone fireplace and private spa. The "Talking Rain" cabin is part of the Mogollon Resort near Bison Ranch in Heber-Overgaard, AZ. A great place to get away from your busy life and enjoy the cooler weather, mountains, and ponderosa pine trees.

This cabin has a large, open living area/full kitchen/dining. The living room has a propane fireplace, cozy leather furniture, a 65" smart TV where you can log into your streaming services, and a DVD player. There is a full size kitchen with dishes/cookware for your use. The bathroom is large with a tub/shower combo, plus large sink area. A stacking washer/dryer is in the closet. The bedroom has a brand new king size bed with a Nectar memory foam mattress, and the private hot tub is on the deck just off the bedroom. Wall A/C unit is there if needed.

Home away from home

This cabin was very cozy. Perfect for a couples getaway. My husband and I really loved our stay here and our host Callie was very pleasant and responsive to every questions or issues we had. We 100% recommend to any couple who wants to have a romantic peaceful getaway.

Great little getaway

Great little getaway for my wife and I! Place was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The only bummer is it’s right next to the freeway. Can get a little noisy when there’s lots of traffic

Cute spot for a getaway

This is a great little spot just off the beaten path that allows you the feel of being away from it all. All the comforts of home with just enough romantic feel to make a perfect weekend. They just was amazing and made was available through text and she made sure our visit was perfect.

It was quiet,and because there were so many more cabins all close together I thought I wouldn’t have privacy,but we did and it was quiet and no one bothered us.It was small and cozy,and great to just relax.I would recommend staying here

My husband and I booked this cabin for our birthday weekend. We will definitely be back! I am usually very skeptical of cleanliness and this cabin was so clean and perfect.The host, Callie, was very responsive and great to work with. Looking forward to next year!

Birthday Trip to Overgaard

Talking Rain is a beautifully kept cabin & very clean. The host stocked the cabin with almost everything we'd need including board games and a standing fan for sleeping (this was important!). We will hopefully be back very soon!

Enjoyable

Other than being a little too close to the main road, we had a very relaxing and restful weekend. My wife is recovering from cancer surgery and this was a much needed escape. We were not disappointed. Thank you Callie for being such an amazing host.

Cool getaway.

Much needed escape from Phoenix heat to cooler climes in Heber-Overgaard. The cabin and all that was a part of the week's rental was as stated. Very clean with furnishings and supplies as promised. Friendly interchanges with owner.

Great location!!

The place was great, very relaxing, but a little close to the main highway, the hot tub was good, but I think it needs maintenance, the temperature kept getting cold. I also think that you need to upgrade the bathroom shower unit, it was a weak stream. But other than that, it was good.

It was nice and clean. Not fond of the location right off the highway but luckily it was not a busy time so the traffic was not an issue. We had an issue with the hot tub erroring and since it was kind of late we didn’t contact the manager until the next day, which we were leaving so it didn’t matter at that point. Overall it was clean and quiet.

Last minute trip

My husband and I decided last minute we wanted to get out of heat for the 4th of July. We needed a pet friendly place to bring our dog and this house was available. It was expensive for a 1 bedroom place but due to holiday we decided to go for it, $370 a night after fees included. The house was in a nice community. It’s close to the road but we knew this from previous reviews and it didn't bother us. The house was clean and checkin process was super easy. Please note if you are bringing your pet there are a lot of rules not listed on the booking. Please ask for the rules before booking.

Birthday Trip

Perfect spot to stay if you love nature and don't want to be all the way in showlow. The fact that it's near the highway never caused any issues or annoyance during our stay. Overall, a wonderful place.
