"We had a fantastic stay at La Musardiere. The property was perfect in every way and the hosts are wonderful people. The cottage is situated in a great location, quiet and peaceful but yet so close to some many places. Bayeux, D-Day beaches and museums and the beautiful countryside. Recommend staying. "The property is beautifully landscaped, full of flowers. The themed rooms are clever: I stayed in the room called “Dog Tags”. The sport shower is awesome! You can add a breakfast, charmingly served in a metal footlocker. You get a thermos of hot coffee, hot milk, orange juice, cold milk, petits pots de yaourt, baguettes, croissants, butter and jam. The property is located next door to the Overlord Museum and walking distance to the American Cemetery. "
"Our hosts were lovely and helpful even though we spoke almost no French and they spoke no English. Being able to lock our rental car inside the gate was an added bonus. The yard was quiet and perfect for an impromptu picnic of food purchased in nearby Bayeux. Highly recommend. "

"This really is a beautiful gite. The standard of quality is really high. The bed was super comfy, everything in the gite worked perfectly and was spotlessly clean and modern. The patio was so pretty and ideal for food and drinks.it’s the ideal location for exploring the Normandy beaches. The host was very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend staying here you won’t regret it"

"We had a great holiday and the location is great for exploring Normandy.
We felt that as the property can sleep 6, it would definitely benefit from some more comfortable seating in the lounge area as one sofa isn’t enough. The WiFi was also very weak and frequently dropped out altogether.
A hook to hang a hand towel in the upstairs bathroom would also be very useful.
