We were delayed due to issues with our car hire. When we arrived at the hotel a day late, we found that we did not have a double room as requested (in a booking well over a year ago) and Ana, the receptionist, could not explain why this was the case. We suspected that, as the hotel was full, the room we were given was possibly the worst available. It had a view on to a wall, was quite small, there was no tea/coffee making facility or waste bin in the room (only a small pedal bin in the bathroom). The breakfast was of a reasonable quality but the 'hot' options, eggs of different types and bacon were cold. We were not offered any local information - regarding local restaurants, visiting sites etc which would have been useful. There was no local information given about the eclipse. Overall language was a barrier. We were disappointed.

Camas antiguas almohadas finas y manta. Y no había nevera!!!

Not a favourite.

Interesting place. Location is right on the corner of a busy intersection. Walking distance to everything as there is nothing around. Has a bar on premise but no restaurant. Room ok, but stuffy as if you open a window, you get loud traffic noise. Would look elsewhere next time.

Nice hotel, terrible location

Mieres is not a charming place per se, and the hotel is located far from the city center and any facilities. No parking.

Excellent service

Excellent service. The neighbourhood id pretty grim but the hotel is clean and comfortable. The evening meal was very tasty and very reasonably priced. A good stopover on the way to Gijon although Mieres is not an attractive town.
