Awesome home in Owatonna !

Great location everything you need. You will feel at home. Highly recommend this property very comfortable bed 🛌 and property located right by a beautiful park and river 100% will be back here next time in town.

Relaxing, quiet escape from daily chores.

A cozy, charming nicely furnished apartment, very comfortable & only reason one needs to go out is to a restaurant or grocery store for food. I definitely recommend this place & I would come back.

Sweet Dreams Near Dartts Park

For my first time staying in a VRBO property, it was a fantastic choice to start with, indeed! We really enjoyed the feel of the place and felt at home from the moment we stepped in the door. We were blessed to get to visit with the sweet lady who keeps things clean before she headed out. Though I can't recall her name, she was very helpful and gave several great suggestions for our time in Owatonna. I absolutely LOVED running through all of the nearby parks and appreciated her telling us about them. The apartment was fully loaded and there was nothing that we needed that wasn't stocked in the kitchen. Beds were very comfortable and there was an abundance of extra bedding for anyone like me who gets cold easily. Luke did a great job on the updates and remodeling in the bathroom and made great use of the beautifully refinished pipes. I hope any future VRBO stays I have are as great and will definitely return if I find myself staying in Owatonna again in the future!

Nice place to reconnect!

Met a friend that I haven't seen in 4 years. This was a cozy place to do LOTS of talking. The park across the street was nice for taking a walk. Would definitely recommend it!

Very nice one bedroom apartment in Owatonna, MN.

We enjoyed our stay very much. My wife is from the area so it was easy to find and to get around. The apartment was not fully finished, just needed a little trim completed, but was spacious and well furnished. Great location, close to downtown and stores. The only thing I would comment on is there is no air conditioning and no cable TV. The weather was great while we were there, but might be a little warm in the summer months. Owner was very helpful and responsive to our questions. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Location

This was a great find in Owatonna. I already told my family about it that lives there. We loved that it was right across the road from the park. The basement was a good fit since we had kids. There was space enough for the kids to spread out. Luke has done some nice things with the apartment. The only thing that wasn't my favorite was backing out the longish/steepish driveway but that can't be helped. That wouldn't stop me from booking again.

I absolutely loved my stay and would LOVE to come back again! The apartment was well equipped and I was in want for nothing while I was there. Everyone that I met in town or walking the parks in the neighborhood was super friendly and I felt right at home from the moment I arrived!

Highly recommend Luke’s place

My COVID-19 quarantine stay in the lower apartment of this house was great. Comfortable, great location across from a park, close to downtown, many places to walk. Great communication w Luke. He’s a great host. I had everything I needed. I won’t hesitate to stay again. Loved it!

Smoker upstairs

This property is a little decieving. It is actually the basement of a house where the upstairs is being rented. Now the renter upstairs is a smoker and thoughout our two day stay it seemed that anytime the renter smoked (which is often) the smell would travel through the vents and make its way down to the basement. We of course messaged the property owner and he showed up and said he couldnt smell anything and that the renter only smokes outside. The smell was very very strong and highly doubt the smoker is actually going outside to smoke. So......... just know that it is just the basement of a rented house and the renter is a chain smoker. Other than that, the place was cool. Awesome bathroom and shower. Sectional sofa with blankets and pillows, ROKU connected to the TV, Bedroom was nice and has a floor fan. Washer and dryer upstairs in the entry way. I would rate it higher but the smoke was just too strong and frequent.

Great place to stay! Enough room to spread out and be comfortable. As others have said, you are staying in the downstairs of a home but I had no problems with this as you still have your own privacy and such. Even though I didn’t meet the owner, he was easy to communicate with and seems very nice and you can tell that he’s spent a great deal of time creating a feel good place for others. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and the park across the street is a great walk to take on your down time. I would recommend this space and hope to stay here again when I’m in town. Comfortable and cozy

Our 90-day stay was excellent! The dwelling, location and community is stellar. Clean, quiet and responsive owner. Enjoyed the full size refrigerator, Keurig, kitchen ware, paper products, firm bed, nice linens, modern bath, recessed lighting and comprehensive tv package. We will return and book again when in the area.

A good value and comfortable place

Well appointed place and a good value but please note that it's the basement to a house. Perhaps I misread the description but I was expecting a stand alone apartment. No complaints except minor ones with the bathroom and owner's attitude. The bathroom needs a towel bar and a single faucet for hot and cold water for the sink. The old fashioned separate hot and cold faucets doesn't work well these days. No big deal but these two things would improve the bathroom's functionality. I didn't tell him when I saw him but the owner's attitude rubbed me the wrong way when he insisted that he be paid the same day for having two additional kids that decided they also wanted to stay with us for the night we arrived but wanted to check out the dorms at the school where we were attending a hockey camp before deciding if they would spend the full week with us. I like to think that I am an honest person and wasn't going to stiff him for the extra he wanted for the two additional kids but he didn't give me a chance to even explain the situation before insisting on payment the same day. Hopefully we lived up to my responsibilities too and left the place as we'd found it. Please let me know if I missed anything cleaning up or anything I should have done differently so I can be a better VRBO renter as well next time. Thank you.

Immaculate, new, cozy apartment home away from home!
