Comfy bed! Found a few hairs in the sheets and the floors needed swept in the room and the bathroom but overall it was a fine room. Towels were really soft.

We needed a night’s sleep and nothing more so stayed here based on recent positive experiences at other Motel 6 locations. There were several people loitering in the parking lot and the lock on the side door wasn’t working so I’m glad my husband was with me. The room was fine and to be expected for the price but the curtains were completely sheer. Finally the AC was insanely loud and the mattress was older so sleep was hard to come by. Spend a few more dollars elsewhere.

What i liked, it was a few doors down from Perkins Family Restaurant. What we didn't like. I would not recommend this motel to anyone. The lobby & the room, was not at all like the pictures online. Everything in the room needed to be replaced or updated. It was tired.Especially the toilet seat, which had gouges in it. We had to put a towel to stand on in the tub, due to the stains, etc.#204. The bed skirt was oversized & a trip hazard. The people above us were noisy. We left at 6am, we had a poor night's sleep. We didn't feel comfortable staying any longer, than we had to.

The coffee was hot and staff really nice. It needs a lot more lighting around the property. There were people sitting in the staircase on their phones. The stairs were dirty. We had t9 try every light in the room to find one that worked.

We get what we pay for

We needed an inexpensive place to stay and we got what we paid for. Room was very clean. Staff was friendly. Bed was fine. Computer issues delayed our check-in and our keys. We could have used a small bar of soap with our sink. Fan in bathroom was noisy, toilet seat had gouges and water pressure was a bit much. But again, we get what we pay for. We can't remember whether or not there was morning coffee but we didn't see any.

Facility is not in great shape. Card reader by one back door is inoperable, meaning that one can't get in that door. Staff was helpful, however. Our assigned non-smoking room had obviously been smoked in, and staff quickly moved us to a more acceptable room.

Pretty sure there a people living full time in this motel. The other guests were noisy all night, including talking at a loud volume in the hallway, allowing their dogs to bark, and slamming into our door in the middle of the night. The bed was clean but the bathroom floor had not been mopped. When we got ready to leave our room the dead bolt jammed leaving us locked in our room. We were able to get out the window before the door lock was opened.

Bedside lights did not work. Bathroom door was cracked so that it would not latch or lock. Ceiling creaked as the people on the floor above us walked in their room. Entry ways smelled like stale smoke. On the other hand, check-in and check-out were easy and staff were friendly.

Good customer service, but the room not so good.

The desk clerk was very good. However it was in the room where there were problems. When I turned on the light switch after entering the room, no light came on. The light that was to come on, had been turned off, so I turned it back on. Next the toilet seat was clean, but the toilet seat needs to be replaced because it has missing paint. Finally, the pillows were not King sized for the King sized bed. They were also very flat. I needed to sleep on two pillows to get the sleeping height I needed. The room and everything else was clean and tidy. One tip I learned from working the front desk in a hotel during the summer is: when the TV is turned on by a customer, always have the TV remote set to Guide. I was able to watch TV, but it took me a while to figure out it out. or Leave directions in the desk drawer in a plastic paper folder, or have it laminated. The part that concerned me the most is that every time I moved on the bed, (North Side closest to the window) the light next to it flickered. I noticed the cord for it was either under the bed frame. I tried to get the light's cord from underneath the bed frame, but couldn't do it because it was too heavy for me to lift. You need two people. Also, the light on the other side of the bed, didn't work even though there was a light bulb in it.

Hotels.com sold a room in a hotel room in a hotel that was closed. Drove 2 hours to get there to find this out. Then drove another 2 hours to another hotel. Incredibly frustrating that the hotel owners and management do not notify hotels .com of these closures. 0/10 stars for Motel 6 or Super 8 in Albert Lea (the current is motel 6 which is closed for construction. However maps show that location as a super 8.) it was a terrible experience at 9:30pm that has scared me away from hotels.com all together.
