Robert, I am truly sorry for any discomfort you had during your weekend with your family as I always want guests to have a lovely stay and good experience. And especially your family with the passing of your brother. The listing clearly states it is the Guest House Loft Apartment. On your previous stay in August 2023, I took your daughter through the apartment to show it to her. And the pictures and description accurately describe the apartment and property. I am sorry you didn't see the value in your stay. I often stay there and never, not once, have I experienced noises or had a compliant about the young family living below. I did however, receive two complaints from them about you and your stay. The first: your dog barked all day long, even though you assured me that Julio would with you. The second: Saturday night, more people than the 3 guests you booked, stayed up till the wee hours of the morning making merry. While, I did not seek out to chastise you on a public forum, your 2 star review about the guest house loft, demands a response. Again, I am sorry you were displeased and couldn't find the property as special as we think it is! Lucinda

Thank you for the review! You are right, this house is definitely drafty, which works great in the summer months, just requires more blankets in the winter. Thanks for letting me know about the parking area. There is a lamp post right by the parking area and maybe the light bulb blew out... or the switch got switched off. I go investigate!
