Completely renovated and nicely decorated old Norwegian house, right at the harbour of Glesvaen. Situated right at the harbour with great views. Equipped with everything you need. Mr Cameron is a great host and has put a lot of work in this house.
There is a nice restaurant/Cafe right around the corner (The only one in the area). Nearest Supermarket is a 10 Min drive, and there are two more another 10 mins away. You can swim, explore the area by boat or on foot or just relax and enjoy quiet atmosphere.
We can highly recommend the house for families.
Loved this place, so so cute, there is a restaurant walking distance, but check the hrs, closes early ish. I would recommend this place 100% to anyone. Lovely, clean, close to trails, and very charming.
The house is charming, well-equipped and very cozy. All three bedrooms are spacious, and the beds very comfortable. Our kids especially loved the chest full of games, and the view from the terrace and every window is simply magical. The house is located in a tiny, very quiet village, but the bustling city of Bergen is not too far away. There are also lots of magnificent hiking trails nearby. The host Ashley went out of his way to make us feel welcome. When we couldn’t find any firewood in the supermarket, he rang up a hardware store in the neighbourhood to make sure that they would set a couple of bags aside before we came.
Wunderschönes kleines historisches Haus, das mit viel Hingabe und Gefühl fürs Detail restauriert wurde. Glesvaer ist ein idyllischer ruhiger Ort. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen!
