We were a group of 6 who stayed at the resort and all enjoyed our stay. The staff were all friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We liked that the hotel was in a quieter spot on the island. The pool is gorgeous and we enjoyed the beach too (even with some sargassum).

All the above! No hot water , no working clock in the room and when told takes hours. I had to leave to shower at another resort because no one came to repair the water. Never got to sleep there and they offered no refund no comp. No credit just took my $2700.

The staff were excellent and made me feel special on my birthday. They knew I was a solo traveler and made sure which taxi driver had me by calling the driver just to check on me. Room was clean and the location was perfect for me. I'll never forget this trip and will definitely be back.

Room was clean and cleaned exceptionally well every day. Staff were very pleasant. Maintenance and cleaning staff were excellent! Some areas like the store and bar at happy hour could have some upstaffing for assistance and to prevent lineups at times. Felt there were not enough staff at times in these areas and the one person just simply could not keep up. Felt secure and safe at the property. Look forward to returning sometime. Thanks for a great holiday.

At OBR the apartment suites were impeccibly designed and decorated. Please note that at this resort there exist only one building that is Handicap equipped with elevators. The beach is private and small. As far as the location, it is located on the other side of the island, but still on the Dutch side of SXM. That said if you book in high sesaon, you are looking at a ride of 30 + minutes to and from the airport. Staff at OBR was on point! The restaurants, The Infinity (lambchops) and the Veranda (mini Tuna bagette and BLT mini baguette)were absolutely to die for. Of course with anything else there's always a "you cant please everyone". Drinks fell in the later category. A BIG COMMENDATION to HOUSEKEEPING STAFF, Althea. Front Desk Associate Tenika, and Associate support Nelson. You three made our stay MOST MEMORABLE. Continued Blessings Always!!

Negative: The ladies at the front desk are not really what you could call welcoming. They also need to know that if a guest comes over and ask a question, it is because they need clarity, not because they're dumb or trying to take on more than they paid for, that's the impression i was given. And they started laughing and talk behind my back as soon as i was stepping out. The free breakfast this place advertise is a joke, be ready to pay for your eggs, bacon, sausage. Room appearance is old, for a resort of that price the TV they have is a joke. The Water in the shower was really slow as well. Positive: The restaurant, the bar, the pool, the hot tub, the outside view is great, and the people that work on property are amazing. (The front desk ladies are not)

Exceptional service from the moment we arrived. CJ took our bags and escorted us to our 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite with patios on the top floor overlooking the bay. Beautiful beachfront location with rooms facing beach on one side and bay on the other. There are daily planned activities, live music in the evening, a wonderful spa and gorgeous infinity pool. We had body scrubs and massages with Raysi and Miledy two caring, talented professionals. We were celebrating my sister’s birthday. Bethany at the front desk along with our therapists went out of their way to make her day special! Rooms are modern, spotless and well planned out. Location is on the Dutch side of Island, private and quiet yet very close to the French border. If you don’t mind driving uphills and around turns rent a car at the airport and you will find it’s easy to get around all over the island. Can’t wait to return!

The front desk staff is a one star. Checking in was in issue. Supposedly our room was given to another couple and that was told to us. So they couldn’t find our information. One of the staff was aware the girl checking us in had made the mistake. Basically waited till we were there to prove it to her. We would go on throughout our trip not knowing if someone would be racking up charges or if the other room was better. Our room although large was, quite noisy (Courtyard). When I went back to the front desk to ask if I could pay for an upgrade, I was told no. Just no, nothing else. I asked when a manager would be available to ask if I could try to do anything else. I was told 11, maybe 12 who knows. So, I put it to bed and sucked it up. As for the rest of my 10 day vacation; this place is clean and the food is good. Nice maintained beach and some really friendly people working here. JUST NOT THE FRONT DESK. Which is a shame as it could have jaded the rest of our stay. Sometimes asking for beach towels was met with a sigh. Too bad really.

Staff were not very friendly. Seemed like they didn't want to be there. We had to check-in twice because they lost our paper work which makes us nervous because they took a copy of our Creditcard and passports plus a form we filled out with address. Our bathroom window would not close. The rooms are small and old. The king bed was great. The food was ok. The pool was nice and infinite part was very nice. The hot tub area had paper and trash floating in it but nice besides that. All in all, we would not go back.

Oyster Bay Resort is the perfect place to stay on Sint Maarten! Beautiful accommodation's, very friendly and helpful staff, 2 fantastic restaurants, nightly activities (live music, karaoke, games, themed dinners), and a short distance to all of the beautiful French beaches! I highly recommend staying at Oyster Bay! , !

We had a nice and peaceful room . With beautiful views on the Caribbean Sea. The room was clean every day with fresh towels for showers and a pool towels as well. We had a very relaxing and very nice time at Oyster Bay Beach resort!!!
