"We booked a room with a king bed but when we arrived at the hotel the desk clerk told me our room had two queen beds. When I asked if they had given our room away to someone else, I was told if they ran out of the rooms we paid for on Hotels.com we would just have to accept what was left. We also tried to contact the hotel from the airport but were unable to get anyone except a phone tree that simply told us to go to the website. If we can't count on getting the room we booked (and paid for), I guess we will just use another service."

"Beautiful hotel with excellent, varied breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Air conditioner works perfectly. Room is large and clean with very nice rustic furniture. Only problem is the elevators. There are only two for the whole building, and they are small and slow. It would help if there were service elevators for the cleaning staff and equipment. Or just more elevators in general. "

"Don’t stay here! Old rooms, cracked bare concrete floor in room, poor lighting, lumpy beds, musty smell, ran out of coffee at the meager breakfast. The location is what attracted us to this property but that isn’t enough to compensate for the poor room. Wish I would have paid more attention to the negative reviews."

"The room was nice and clean, very spacious bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Pool was a shared indoor/outdoor, we did not use but did get in the hot tub! Very nice. Clean and relaxing. Breakfast was very good! They even offer a soft drink machine with coke products! It’s also open in the evenings and they have popcorn for a late afternoon snack! Nice treat! Safe area of St Louis with shopping and eating options within a 5 minute or so drive!"
