"Couple of problems , Cash Only ,The owner refused to take a Credit card (I assumed it would be charged through Hotels.com)and only found out afterwards that a couple I just met paid my Bill w/ cash. The price Booked online was $75 per room and they paid $220 .Thats $70 more than quoted ? Thats not all that's shady ,Without my knowledge or approval . I am booked for three more future stays( 2 in Sept and 1 in Dec.). I showed the owner the mistake while I was there and she shrugged her...

"We had a lovely week at St Iven. The rural location meant the peace and quiet was wonderful and was much needed! "We had a very nice stay and the house was well equipped. The garden is large which gave the children space to run around and the kitchen had everything we needed. Most importantly the beds were comfortable! Location is superb if you are looking for somewhere quiet and rural but we did end up driving a lot for attractions further afield. Plenty of parking. When we called about a few issues, the owner came within 10mins and both were resolved immediately. The home-made jam was greatly appreciated....

"Only a quick overnight stay in our journey. Was perfect for that. Only thing was it was implied breakfast was free mon- fri and only chargeable at weekends and we got charged for it on a week day. Apart from that, no issues. "
