Oceanfront With Memorable Surf And Haystack Rock Views

Welcome to captivating surf views from this three bedroom and two bath house with a winning combination of a west facing deck for lazy summer days or dramatic winter days and an east facing deck located off the dining area where there are Adirondack chairs and a propane gas barbeque for you to use and enjoy while you take in the river views, wildlife, kayakers. This is an excellent area to sit and have your coffee and enjoy the sun rise in the morning.

The living room on the main level has a comfortable sectional and a cozy fireplace to stay warm while gazing out at the ocean and Haystack Rock. The kitchen and dining area sit slightly above the living room both with the same amazing ocean views.
One of the lower level bedrooms has a comfortable king bed with a Gel-Latex Mattress set and the other bedroom has two queen beds with French doors that lead you onto an east facing paver patio.
The upper level is where you will find the master bedroom featuring a queen Gel-Memory Foam mattress on a Head-Up adjustable base. This enables one to sit up in bed in the mornings and take in the beautiful waterfront views. There is also a large love seat perfect for slipping away and finally finishing that novel you’ve been reading. A private ocean view balcony is located off the master bedroom and a private master bath with a soaking tub.

There is something special about this area of the Oregon Coast and the Pacific Sunset will easily become your favorite destination.

The beach access is steep due to erosion from the ocean.

Pet fee is per pet, per stay. Multiple pets require multiple fees. Pets must please stay off the furniture and beds and never left alone inside the house or garage unless in a kennel. Pet limit is 2. No daily visitors allowed without management approval.

Weekend get-away

Perfect beach escape

We loved this home. Perfect spot on the beach, with gorgeous views! The ocean air flowed thru the home and was so relaxing and inviting. We enjoyed playing a few games and perusing the dvds, too. We would absolutely stay here again!

not only was pacific city an incredibly great little beach town, but the house location could not have been better. steps from the beach, great decor, CLEAN, comfortable. the house exceeded my expectations and we will be back!

Great Family Getaway

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property on the Oregon coast! The house was well-maintained, spacious, and perfect for our family of four (plus our dog!). Our teen daughters loved the cozy vibe and easy access to the beach. It was a treat to be within walking distance of great restaurants, which made exploring the area so convenient. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing and pet-friendly getaway!

A couple suggestions: 1. have more blankets available 2. The downstairs king bed room - the windows need to be able to open, it gets too stuffy. We did enjoy ourselves. Thanks

Great stay!

Owner/host was great in communicating and accommodating! My family had an amazing time during our stay. The beach access was great for quick walk down during low tide for sea shell hunting; a little steep but manageable (fun to run down if you don’t have a bad knee or hip). There is a less steep access not too far up the road. Because we had an almost two year old child with us, we thought the stairs would be a bit of a challenge but she managed just fine. I would recommend a baby gate or two to truly market this property as an all-around family friendly unit. And perhaps investing in Pack N Play for sleepy infants/toddlers. We would love to stay again in the future!

Nice beach house

Lovely cottage. As other have mentioned, stairs and some maneuvering for tall people is required. Comfortable beds. Incredibly beautiful views from patio, terrace and bedroom upstairs. The beach is actually down a very steep dune that even for a relatively fit person is a bit of a workout (but worth it). The houses next door are quite close. The property manager wasn’t the most pleasant—not very friendly to begin with and then at 11:06a (check out is 11am) we had already locked up the house (after cleaning it up very nicely mind you—vacuuming even) and were in the driveway closing the trunk and she drove by and hassled us about check out being at 11am. Unnecessary and kind of soured the whole experience. Nevertheless the property is very nice.

Lovely time, great property but not super accessible

The house was great and had everything we needed. But we could not tell from the pictures how many stairs it had or how difficult it was to get to the beach. There are stairs to the kitchen from the living room, stairs down to two of rooms and bathroom, and stairs to the upstairs bathroom and bedroom. Also it has a beautiful view but a bit of a cliff to get down to the actual beach. You could climb it but it was not easy at all. Again the house was well kept and I have no complaints but it did not work for everyone in our group. Just be aware that it is not accessable for everyone. If stairs are not a problem for you, then I would say it's a great place to rent.

Great view of the ocean to the west and the river to the east! House is split among 4 levels, which was fun for us but could be an issue for people not able to handle steps.The access to the beach was great for our family; however, the 20 foot drop to the beach on a sand dune would be hard for many people, particularly returning.Bottom line…..it work great for us!

We had such a lovely girls getaway. The house was perfect for us, giving us plenty of space and direct access to the beach, along with the stunning views. Everything was clean and it had great walkablility to restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend!

Essence of Pacific City

This home has incredible views of the ocean and the haystack rock. We spent hours sitting on the decks, enjoying the views and the sounds of crashing waves. The upstairs bedroom has its own balcony. The kitchen has a deck on the backside looking out to the Nestucca River. The home is light and cheerful. It has many level changes and stairs, so take that into consideration if you are traveling with people who are not able to climb stairs.

Location!

Location is great! We sat out on the do most of the day. You do have to climb down a pretty steep embankment to get to the beach. Not bad for us but if you have mobility issues it would be a challenge. House is a little beat up but your paying for the view.

Wonderful Quick Getaway

We had a wonderful quick trip to the ocean with our two adult children. Our daughter attends OSU and drove up to meet us. The house was perfect for us- so close to the beach and a lovely view!

The view and beach access are amazing! The walk to the beach is very easy and as close as it gets. The home is clean, beds are comfy, and the kitchen is more than adequate. (All the essentials are there, just bring your favorite spices, crock pot, etc). This home has 4 levels.

Awesome location, beautiful views. The house was clean, had a good selection of board games tv options, and some basics etc for the kitchen which was helpful. Beds were comfortable, had ample towels and even beach towels. We had two adults and 3 teens and it was a good amount of space for us all.

Loved the master suit upstairs. The view from the kitchen, master bedroom and living area was wonderful. Take note there and 3 levels and the stairs were difficult for my mother. Overall, I loved it! But I had the master suite:)

Great house on the beach!

This was the second time we stayed here. Access to the beach was a little better this time. Not as steep. Would be great if owners could put a stake with a rope down to the beach to help us back up like the neighbors had, but I am a 71 year old grandma and was able to go down, easy, up with a little work. The house worked perfect for us, our son and daughter in love and 2 grands (7&9). The deck off the kitchen on the side opposite of the beach was perfect when it got too hot on the beach side. We had a great time!
