  • We took a 5 day rafting trip down the San Juan. Our second camp site at Hanaker had an amazing hike up the canyon wall to a look out over the river and canyon. Very hot hike, but the views were amazing. If I did this one again, I would probably go in the morning. The raft trip itself is pretty easy, only one Class III rapid. Best Vrbo Experience Ever

Beautiful place in all respects, inside and out. Interior was fabulous. The private hiking trail and excellent accommodations for our dogs were over the top compared to all other Vrbo experiences we have had.

It was wonderful to watch the sun come up and see deer walking in the woods. The beautiful landscape, cleanliness and the comfort of the home enhanced our vacation immensely.

Peaceful Oasis

Our stay was amazing! From heated floors to a private hike, the host literally thought of the smallest details. The property was quiet and beautiful, but close to everything in town. Wonderful views, location, and hiking

We loved our stay at this property. It is spacious and comfortable and the views are so incredible!! I also loved the trail that started right outside my front door. I hiked this trail with my dog twice a day each day of our stay. It never got old. We loved sitting on the spacious balcony with our dog each day as well. I can't recommend enough.

Beautiful cabin in a great location!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin! It’s filled with every thing you need and more for an enjoyable stay. The owner put a lot of thought into making this feel like a home away from home. It’s pet friendly which was a nice bonus. Walking trail just outside the door with well kept driveway and walkways, it snowed the weekend we stayed. Communication was so easy and the on site manager was very kind and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Well-equipped cabin with beautiful view

The cabin was a perfect getaway for me and my pup. I wanted a place to just chill and work for a couple days. The excellent WiFi, pet-friendliness, well-equipped kitchen, and - especially! - the on site hiking trail made it possible. Thank you Sarah! We'll be back.

Spectacular place!

This house and location are, simply, the best we have ever stayed in, all throughout the US. You feel as if you are in a treehouse overlooking snow-topped mountains. And all around the house are many hiking trails, from short to long, all just what we like. The house is well-equipped and offers most anything you will need. Basically, I cannot say enough good superlatives about the house, an ideal place.

Peaceful

I booked this location because of the listing photo with that wall of windows overlooking the trees and distant mountains. It looked so peaceful and I wanted to feel that peaceful. It was so peaceful. I loved sitting on that deck and just being. The house had all the essentials for a good stay, felt clean, and the host added a few thoughtful touches that made it feel extra welcoming.

We hit the jackpot on our first Pagosa rental

This property looked amazing when we were looking at it on VRBO. It is everything we saw and more. The communication from beginning to end was very smooth with prompt responses to all questions and the booking process. You will not find a property with a better view Than Eagle Peak. The house was spotless when we arrived. Everything in the house is in perfect working order. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. We will definitely be planning another trip in the future and this is top of the list.

A Piece of Heaven

My three sisters and I met in Pagosa Springs for a fun week together. We continually raved about what a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. The directions to the house were very clear and easy to follow. The kitchen had everything we needed. The private trail was so nice and the benches and swing were a welcomed bonus to sit and enjoy the stunning views. Whenever we had a question, Sarah or Henry were very quick to reply. We would highly recommend this home.

Absolute Comfort

You're literally on top of the mountain at this place. Views put the online photos to shame. There's three identical properties within close proximity but we felt alone the entire time. The home was spotless, including all the necessary ammentities and the host left numerous inviting notes and instructions in the home for easy access. Directions were a breeze to follow and this is very pet friendly which worked well for our two dogs. The home was a perfect size for a couple getaway and you're only 10 mins from downtown and the hot springs. I would DEFINITELY stay here again. One of the best vacation rentals I've ever stayed in. Thank you, Sarah and Henry!

I can’t say enough good about Sarah the owner/manager! She is so kind and right on top of anything you may need! The place was absolutely beautiful! The Mountain View every morning never got old with my morning cup of coffee! We will definitely book next years Pagosa vacation with Sarah.
